Yeonjung is one of the two oldest members of YOUNG POSSE. She trained for the idol route with dance as a central strength, then debuted in a group where formations have to survive oversized props, visual jokes, boom-bap attitude, and choreography that can change texture mid-song.

Yeonjung debuted with YOUNG POSSE on October 18, 2023 through the EP Macaroni Cheese. DSP Media manages the group with Beats Entertainment as co-producer. The first year moved fast: “Macaroni Cheese,” “XXL,” and “ATE THAT” established a rap-heavy identity built on jokes, 1990s references, video-game worlds, and member participation. The group then widened its sound through collaborations, COLD, Growing Pain pt.1: FREE, and 2026’s young tape.

YOUNG POSSE’s catalog works differently from a group where members wait for one assigned line. Writing credits, unit tracks, remixes, and collaborations repeatedly rearrange who carries the song. That gives Yeonjung room to change in public instead of remaining trapped in a debut position chart.

Yeonjung gives the group physical clarity. She stretches lines, keeps timing clean, and makes busy choreography readable without over-performing every count. The 2026 young tape project gives her “NO SLEEP,” a solo space that matters because it lets listeners separate her individual tone from the five-member collision.
