The Many Worlds in My Head

I reject modern society. Too many meetings, too many notifications, and not nearly enough enchanted mountains. Most of these worlds have lived in my head for years. I am only now getting some of them onto paper.

This is not a productivity dashboard. Some worlds have full drafts. Some have lore bibles, character problems, and one perfect scene. Some keep sending me ideas at 2 a.m. while refusing to explain the plot. None of them are abandoned. They are simply waiting for my ADHD to circle back.

Bamboo Grove

Kids, pandas, village mysteries, and the very serious business of being small in a world that keeps handing you problems. This is the cozy corner of my brain, although cozy never means nothing goes wrong.

Current brain status: Cute enough to lower your guard. Sneaky enough to steal your afternoon.

Lumina Echoes

A K-pop romance with stage lights, bad timing, public images, private feelings, and chemistry that keeps replaying scenes in my head without providing a proper outline.

Current brain status: Stuck in my head. Waiting for the day it finally tells me what happens between the excellent scenes.

Ascendant Skies

Ancient-China-inspired myth, martial worlds, cultivation, divine politics, and Sun Wukong causing problems exactly where heaven hoped he would not.

Currently brewing: A six-volume Journey to the West retelling and a spin-off about a young monk meeting Sun Wukong. Both have been “in the works” for roughly three years. Progress is a spiritual concept.

Inner Realm

Your own mind, except we are cleaning it with strategy. I take older Chinese teachings and turn them toward boundaries, conflict, timing, self-respect, and becoming harder to emotionally derail.

Currently tabled: The Art of War for Real Life is already a whole book. It is also kind of boring. It needs spice, personality, and perhaps next year’s hyperfixation.

Retellings and original stories rooted in the past, mostly China. I am deeply attached to the 1970s through the 1990s, although ancient China keeps slipping through the door too.

Currently holding me hostage: One slice-of-life novel that may become 2,000 chapters because apparently I needed every meal, argument, cousin, neighbor, and village rumor.

Fractured Horizons

The world did not end. It got inspired with insanity. Reality cracked open, fantasy-RPG logic leaked through, and everyone had to keep living while the rules became aggressively unhelpful.

Current brain status: Chaos, progression, strange powers, and the suspicion that surviving the new world may require becoming weirder than it is.
