Jiana attended Hanlim Multi Art School and is reported to have trained previously with Source Music and Fantagio before joining the DSP Media and Beats Entertainment project. That longer trainee path shows in her adaptability: she can function inside conventional idol polish, but YOUNG POSSE asks her to move through rap, R&B, parody, and deliberately rougher edges.

Jiana debuted with YOUNG POSSE on October 18, 2023 through the EP Macaroni Cheese. DSP Media manages the group with Beats Entertainment as co-producer. The first year moved fast: “Macaroni Cheese,” “XXL,” and “ATE THAT” established a rap-heavy identity built on jokes, 1990s references, video-game worlds, and member participation. The group then widened its sound through collaborations, COLD, Growing Pain pt.1: FREE, and 2026’s young tape.

YOUNG POSSE’s catalog works differently from a group where members wait for one assigned line. Writing credits, unit tracks, remixes, and collaborations repeatedly rearrange who carries the song. That gives Jiana room to change in public instead of remaining trapped in a debut position chart.

Jiana’s vocal tone provides shape when the group’s rap-heavy arrangements become crowded. She also participates in lyrics and can move between sung lines and rhythmic delivery without sounding like the song changed employees. Her pairing with Doeun on “kawa” works because she can supply atmosphere while Doeun pushes the track’s harder angles.
