ASC2NT
Karam, Jay, Reon, Kyle and Hyowon are a five-member group where “rookie” does not mean everyone arrived yesterday. Two members carried DGNA history into a new company, two built the first ASC2NT lineup, and one joined after a health hiatus became a permanent goodbye.

THE REDEBUT FILE
DGNA did not disappear when ASC2NT began
Karam, Jay and Injun first worked together through XING and DGNA, then returned to public attention as Team 23:00 on JTBC’s Peak Time. The show reminded people that an idol career does not become worthless when the algorithm moves to younger faces.
NEWWAYS signed the three veterans and added Reon and Kyle. ASC2NT was therefore not a nostalgia unit or a completely new rookie group. It was a second chapter asking experience and new chemistry to share one stage.
THE LINEUP FILE
Injun’s health pause became an exit; Hyowon entered
Injun paused group activities in November 2024 for health reasons. On June 24, 2025, NEWWAYS announced the end of his team activities after extended discussion. Seventeen days later, the company revealed Hyowon with the Conversion Part.2: Bloomed concept photos.
The speed felt like replacement math. The useful timeline is clearer: Injun needed a health pause, the separation became permanent months later, and Hyowon joined as a member with his own JWiiver history—not as a body-shaped patch.
The catalog keeps converting
Expecting Tomorrow (2024): “LOVE ME DO” and “The Reason” introduced the five-member debut. The title is almost aggressively hopeful for men carrying previous careers into a new company.
Conversion Part.1 (2024): “Sweet Devil” and “Your Echo” moved the group beyond the redebut headline and toward a cleaner adult-pop identity.
Conversion Part.2: Bloomed (2025): “DON’T MOVE” arrived with Hyowon in the new lineup. The command is loud; the emotional context is a group refusing to freeze after change.
“Replay” and STILL : I (2025–2026): the first mini album gave the lineup room for “Still Rose,” “Purple Rain” and “The Boy in the Mirror.”
“Green light, Yellow light, Red light” (2026): the latest single keeps the group moving instead of turning the comeback history into a museum.
CURRENT STATUS
ASC2NT is active as Karam, Jay, Reon, Kyle and Hyowon. Injun is a former member, not a person to erase from the debut archive. The current official NEWWAYS artist page lists five members and links the group’s active channels.

ASC2NT makes me happy because the group treats survival as a résumé, not a stain. K-pop loves a fresh face and then acts surprised when experienced adults know how to find a camera, pace a tour and sing after a bad week. The lineup change was rough. The second chapter still deserves more pages.
