Before ASC2NT
Kyle was born in Jakarta, studied at Hanyang University and completed military service before ASC2NT. He speaks Korean, English and Bahasa Indonesia and was announced with Reon in January 2024. Joining three DGNA veterans meant entering a story already full of fandom memory. Kyle’s task was not to imitate that history. It was to make the new chapter sound intentional.
Music, performance and work
As a sub-vocalist, Kyle adds a younger, cleaner color around Karam and Injun’s veteran main-vocal weight, then remained part of the four-member bridge after Injun’s hiatus and departure. He helped carry the group through the awkward period when the public knew the lineup was changing but did not yet know who would fill the space. His language range gives ASC2NT direct connection to Indonesian and English-speaking fans, while his stage work grows less tentative across each release.
2025–2026: the five-member rebuild
After Injun’s 2025 departure, Kyle remained through ASC2NT’s transition to a five-member lineup with Hyowon. He participated in Conversion Part.2: Bloomed and “DON’T MOVE,” then the STILL : I mini-album cycle spanning 2025 and 2026, including “Still Rose,” “Purple Rain” and “The Boy in the Mirror.” The July 16, 2026 single “Green light, Yellow light, Red light” continued that rebuilt lineup and gave Kyle another release cycle in which to sharpen his vocal color and stage confidence.
The panda side quest
Kyle likes badminton, bowling, soccer and swimming, prefers white, and wants to learn Japanese plus more languages. He is a Taemin fan who wants to match that work ethic. He also follows Jay around when Jay is working, trains with him at night and jokes with the members. It is equal parts mentorship, gym pact and extremely persistent younger-brother behavior.
