Sooin
MEOVV’s movement engine. Sooin is the member who can make choreography look heavier without making it look slower.

Early life
Born in Daejeon and raised in Daegu from early childhood, Sooin moved to Seoul during middle school to train. She attended the School of Performing Arts Seoul. That move matters when people flatten her into “the dancer”: this was not a late hobby that happened to photograph well. She built the base for years.
Training and pre-debut
Sooin began training in 2019 at another company and joined THEBLACKLABEL in 2022. She auditioned with Little Mix’s “Oops,” which is a much more useful clue to her musical instincts than a generic “she loves pop” fact. She was revealed as MEOVV’s third member on August 25, 2024.
MEOVV career
2024 · debut year
Sooin debuted with MEOVV on September 6, 2024 through “MEOW,” then returned with “TOXIC.” The first year established the group’s controlled performance style and gave each member a distinct camera identity.
2025 · MY EYES OPEN VVIDE
“HANDS UP,” the first EP, Japanese promotion, and “BURNING UP” expanded the catalog. The year mattered because the members had to prove they were more than an immaculate launch campaign.
2026 · BITE NOW
The second EP gives Sooin more room to show personality. “In my hands” turns confidence inward: not winning somebody over, but backing yourself loudly enough that mistranslation accidentally rewrote the entire chorus.
What Sooin brings to MEOVV
Watch her center of gravity. Sooin does not only hit counts; she changes the weight inside them. In a group built around controlled coolness, she supplies impact without turning every move into a facial-expression contest.
