Before SEVENTOEIGHT

M previously competed on Atom Boyz and left the program before completion. He kept training instead of treating one stalled audition as a prophecy. On SCOOL, that persistence carried him to third place and into SEVENTOEIGHT. He is also the member who carries a camera around, which makes sense. Somebody should document the chaos while everyone is learning Korean at high speed.

SCOOL

M competed on the Korean-Taiwanese survival show SCOOL and earned a place in the final team. Survival shows love to compress years of training into one dramatic ranking. The profile matters because the person did not begin when the cameras did.

SEVENTOEIGHT debut

The group pre-released “PDSR (Please Don’t Stop the Rain)” before debuting officially with “DRIP&DROP” on July 28, 2025. M entered a six-member active lineup with Chiwon, M, EXXI, Kyojun, Jagger, and D’om. The group promotes from Korea while keeping a strong Taiwan-based identity.

Atom Boyz and trainee persistence

M’s public competition history began before SCOOL through Taiwan’s Atom Boyz. Leaving an earlier program without debuting is part of the route, not proof that the later group appeared from nowhere. The gap between programs represents continued training, performance work, and the decision to enter another public evaluation.

SCOOL route

On the Korean-Taiwanese survival show SCOOL, M finished third and earned a place in the final team. His previous stage experience helped with camera awareness and consistency, while the show required adaptation to mixed training backgrounds and a cross-border production environment.

The ranking explains selection but does not remain a permanent member hierarchy. A continuing group career depends on recordings, rehearsals, language work, broadcasts, and live stages that extend beyond a competition finale.

Pre-debut and formal debut chronology

SEVENTOEIGHT pre-released “PDSR (Please Don’t Stop the Rain)” before formally debuting on July 28, 2025 with “DRIP&DROP.” M’s released group activity therefore begins in 2025, not the 2024 formation period. The profile and public card should use the music-activity date consistently.

The existing six-member wording is also incorrect because it lists seven names. The canonical SEVENTOEIGHT group profile remains the source of truth for the active seven-member roster when lineup announcements change.

Voice, dance, and camera identity

M’s lead-vocal and lead-dance descriptions are best evaluated through official stages rather than copied position charts. His height gives formations a clear line, while his more useful traits are controlled transitions, warm stage expression, and the ability to keep energy through the final chorus.

His interest in photography adds a documented visual perspective, but it should not be inflated into directing or production credit. Member-taken images and official behind material can be added when the source identifies his contribution.

Artist classification

M belongs in Members as a current SEVENTOEIGHT member. Competition stages, photography, personal social media, and group songs do not create an independent solo-music catalog. He should enter Artists only after a verified principally credited solo release, using this same canonical page.

YouTube tracking history

This profile tracks official SEVENTOEIGHT music videos, dance practices, performance films, behind-the-scenes uploads, and SCOOL or Atom Boyz stages featuring M. It separates survival-program history from the group’s 2025 pre-debut and formal debut releases. View totals change continuously, so the page records official uploads and career context instead of freezing temporary counts.
