Sophia grew up in the Philippines in a musical family and developed strong singing and performance skills before The Debut: Dream Academy. Her mother, Carla Guevara Laforteza, is an established musical-theater performer.
Career
2023: Competed in The Debut: Dream Academy, finishing first in the final public ranking.
2024: Debuted as KATSEYE’s leader.
2025–present: Became a key spokesperson as the group expanded globally.
