Early life and training
Yoon grew up in Gwangju and trained in dance before entering High Up’s developing lineup. Unlike members with child-actor credits, her pre-debut story is mostly the trainee story: lessons, evaluations, lineup uncertainty, and the documentary footage surrounding High Up Girls.
She entered the final group as one of its younger members but never carried herself like somebody waiting for the older girls to speak first.
Career
From debut, Yoon’s volume—in voice and personality—made her easy to identify. Variety programs quickly learned that she does not require emergency editing to produce a usable clip. Musically, the group uses her power to lift choruses and add force beside Sieun’s brighter focus.
She debuted with STAYC on November 12, 2020 through “SO BAD” from Star To A Young Culture. The group’s early run—“ASAP,” “STEREOTYPE,” and “RUN2U”—turned distinct live vocal colors into the brand, while later releases let each member stretch beyond the original teen-fresh frame.
Skills and stage identity
Yoon has a strong, ringing pop voice and attacks high-energy lines cleanly. She is especially valuable when the arrangement needs momentum rather than delicacy.
She also understands scale. Her expressions read from the back of a concert hall, and her long lines make choreography look expansive. Offstage, her reactions are fast, loud, and frequently funnier than the prepared segment.
