Light Novel · Volume 4 · Complete read · Full spoilers
A party is not three people standing near each other.
Bell has the level. Lilly has the survival instincts. Welf has the weapon—and a family name he refuses to let do the work for him. Volume 4 turns three separate problems into Orario’s newest party.

Overview
The new level is the least interesting thing Bell receives.
The Denatus gives Bell a public name. Hestia gives him Luck and the developing Heroic Desire skill. Welf gives him a blade that exists because the smith chose Bell over the market for magic swords. Lilly gives the entire operation enough skepticism to survive contact with Bell’s optimism.
Then the book tests whether any of that works together. An infant dragon, one absurdly charged Firebolt and a sword pulled from Minotaur Horn turn the lower floors into a rehearsal for the party Bell is going to need below them.
The receipts
Level Two, Luck and one very loud Firebolt.

RaeRae Reviews · Complete read
Three people become a party
The volume is lighter than the Minotaur rematch and smarter than a cooldown book has any right to be. Its real subject is chosen work: what Bell, Lilly and Welf agree to build together.
Reacts
The moments that made RaeRae close the chapter.
React 01
The blue-flower hair ties
Before the records and crowds, Bell buys Hestia a small gift. The bonus story turns their first days together into the emotional receipt under the whole series.
React 02
The charged Firebolt
Bell discovers Argonaut can charge magic. The infant dragon discovers the same information a fraction of a second later.
React 03
The party at the threshold
Bell, Lilly and Welf stop being a temporary arrangement the moment they choose the next floor together.
Rants
The complaints came with exhibits.
Rant
Argonaut needs a warning label
A skill that rewards charging a spell is apparently entrusted to Bell Cranel, a boy whose relationship with moderation remains purely theoretical.
Rant
Magic swords are a labor problem
Everyone wants the Crozzo miracle. Almost nobody wants to hear the smith explain why a weapon that replaces its wielder is not the work he wants to leave behind.
Rant
Nahza charged retail for a debt crisis
The scam is sympathetic once explained. It is still a scam, and Miach Familia’s financial strategy remains “hope the dog girl feels guilty enough.”

What a High Smith actually means

Bell can pour heroic desire and time into an attack. The longer the charge, the larger the consequence—and the larger the opening for disaster.
