Heeseung / EVAN
Solo Artist · Former ENHYPEN Member · Vocalist
Heeseung helped define ENHYPEN’s original vocal center. In 2026 he left the group, chose the stage name EVAN, and began a solo chapter that makes the earlier work part of his history rather than something either side needs to erase.
Early life and training
Lee Hee-seung trained for more than three years before I-LAND and entered with the reputation of an ace. He could sing, dance, arrange parts, and help other trainees while carrying the uncomfortable expectation that experience should make him flawless.
I-LAND and career
Heeseung placed fifth in the I-LAND finale and debuted with ENHYPEN in November 2020. Across the group’s first five years, his flexible upper register and stable center work became a major part of its sound. He also developed songwriting credits, including work connected to the final seven-member era.
What to watch and listen for
As EVAN, the question is not whether he can sing. The interesting part is what he chooses when a seven-person mythology is no longer deciding the frame. His June 2026 solo debut “Ride or Die” begins that answer.
