ONE PACT feels less like a company assembled five matching trainees and more like five people arrived carrying different pieces of a group. Jongwoo brought performance structure. Jay brought the giant voice. TAG brought the hard drive full of songs. Seongmin brought camera intelligence. Yedam brought speed and clean dance lines.
Meet the members
How ONE PACT happened
Most of the lineup became familiar to viewers through Boys Planet, but that is only the shared intersection. Jongwoo and Seongmin had already debuted in BLACK LEVEL and TO1. TAG had debuted in Ciipher. Jay had been building a solo career. Yedam came through LOUD and P NATION training. ARMADA announced Jongwoo first in September 2023, added the remaining members, and sent the group into pre-debut performances before the formal release of MOMENT.
The result is a group with less innocence about how the industry works. They know survival editing, stalled debuts, company changes, and the strange experience of introducing yourself again after the public already met you somewhere else.
The self-production is the point
ONE PACT’s identity is tied to member participation rather than a decorative credit once per album. TAG has written and composed substantial parts of the catalog. Jongwoo contributes to performance and visual direction. Jay brings composition and vocal direction. By the ONE FACT era, all five members had participated in writing, composing, or directing. That does not make every song automatically brilliant. It does make the group’s mistakes more interesting because they belong to the people performing them.
