Why Jang Yeojun matters to the lineup
Jang Yeojun entered the group with a different amount and kind of experience than the other six members. That unevenness is part of CLOSE YOUR EYES’ appeal. The lineup joins veterans, survival-show returnees, trained performers and members who were nearly self-taught. Sub-Leader is the official label. The more useful question is how that role changes once the group’s choreography, vocal blend and live stages start moving.
