The profile
The first miracle in the Crozzo file—and the reason Welf knows a weapon can be beautiful, useful and still poison the family that inherits it.
Volume 4 tells the Crozzo history because Welf’s refusal means nothing without the temptation. An ancestor saved a fairy, received a bloodline gift and forged magic swords powerful enough to make a kingdom reorganize itself around them.
The blessing did not create a clean heroic legacy. The weapons devastated elven forests, the fairy withdrew her favor and the swords failed at the worst possible moment. Welf inherits both the talent and the receipt.
