The profile
The quiet warning in a tavern full of shouting—the woman who makes calm sound much more dangerous than the drunk adventurers expected.
Runoa belongs to the Benevolent Mistress ensemble that protects Bell’s celebration from becoming recruitment harassment. Ahnya brings the chair, Chloe joins the correction and Runoa supplies the controlled pressure that tells the room this is not a lucky outburst.
The scene matters because the tavern is a community with enforcement. Bell does not have to win every confrontation personally to deserve protection, and the women working there are not decorative witnesses to adventurer behavior.

What the War Game changes for Runoa Faust
Benevolent Mistress staff · Former bounty hunter · Alive
Runoa helps make the Hibachitei provocation backfire socially before the War Game begins. Apollo wants a respectable public venue where an insult can become evidence. The Benevolent Mistress staff know too much about violence to mistake performance for innocence.
Her presence expands the tavern’s meaning. Bell’s support network includes people with dangerous pasts who have chosen ordinary work without surrendering the ability to defend the room. Apollo attacks a boy and discovers the city has already given that boy places where he belongs.
