The profile
The man who kidnaps Hestia to humiliate Bell, loses his invisibility advantage to blue crystal dust, and still earns a reversal by becoming the loudest voice protecting Bell’s final charge.
Mord resents the Little Rookie’s sudden fame and the powerful people orbiting him. Hermes does not create that resentment, but he equips it. With the Hades Head, Mord abducts Hestia and forces Bell into a public duel designed to expose the rookie as overrated.
Bell adapts without becoming cruel. When the Black Goliath turns petty conflict into survival, Mord changes sides in action rather than speech. He rallies Rivira’s adventurers to defend the boy he tried to break. The reversal works because the book never pretends the earlier harm vanished.

What the War Game changes for Mord Latro
Adventurer · Bell bettor and loud believer · Alive
Mord’s respect for Bell was earned the ugly way in Volume 5. By Volume 6, he turns that bruised recognition into public confidence during the War Game. The man who once needed to see Bell humiliated now needs the crowd to understand the rabbit can win.
That shift matters because fandom inside the story is not limited to gentle people. Mord remains rough, loud and entirely capable of making support sound like a bar fight. His belief still helps change the emotional temperature around an attacking Familia everybody expects to lose.
Bet
He puts money behind the belief
Mord treats Bell’s impossible odds as an opportunity rather than proof the contest is already over.
Crowd
Volume becomes momentum
His shouting gives ordinary spectators permission to imagine Apollo’s fortress can fall.
Receipt
Respect survived embarrassment
Mord’s earlier defeat becomes the reason his confidence in Bell carries weight instead of empty enthusiasm.
