ARrC debuted with a promise to “Always Remember the real Connection.” Twenty-two months later, Mystic Story ended the group. The archive still has eight people, four releases, one painfully timed sales jump and enough pre-filmed lineup confusion to require a timeline.

How ARrC became ARrC

Mystic Story built ARrC through WORLD OF ARrC, a pre-debut reality file that introduced the original seven before the official debut. The name expands to “Always Remember the real Connection,” an earnest promise from a company that later gave the group less than two full years to prove it.

The original lineup joined Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese and Korean-Brazilian members under a youthful hip-hop frame. Their appeal was not technical novelty. It was the way seven different trainee histories—survival shows, ballet, vocal academies, migration and almost-debuts—started looking like one working room.

THE LINEUP FILE

Ziwoo left; Andy arrived; the footage ignored the calendar

Ziwoo departed for personal reasons on January 22, 2025. Mystic Story warned that already-filmed content could still include him. Eight days later, the company announced Andy, a Japanese-American former PROJECT 7 contestant who had previously trained beside ARrC.

The overlap was production lag, not a secret eight-member era. Fans were processing an exit, an addition and a backlog at the same time. The second lineup still had to promote as if that emotional edit could be completed in a week.

THE END FILE

The sales finally rose, then the group ended

Mystic Story’s notice arrived June 23, 2026 and stated that group activities concluded June 22 after discussions with the seven final members. The company said they would pursue separate paths.

The timing stung because the later releases showed sales growth. Fans did what fandoms are told to do—stream, buy, learn the new lineup—and discovered that better numbers cannot reverse an internal decision that has already moved elsewhere.

Pre-debut · “dummy”

“dummy” introduced the original seven with more attitude than biography. It works best as a preface: ARrC had the rhythm and visual confidence before the public had enough member context to understand who was carrying what.

AR^C · August 19, 2024

The first EP and official debut. “S&S (sour and sweet)” used playful hip-hop, bright melody and the original lineup’s contrasting tones. The official video was directed by NOVV KIM, with Mystic Story crediting Benjamin 55, Young Chance, Stary 55 and gxxdkelvin among the production team.

nu kidz: out the box · February 18, 2025

Andy’s first official group release and the beginning of the second lineup. “nu kidz” used retro synths and boom-bap to present the change as forward motion rather than damage control. The official video credits director Mingyu Kang of GEW/SL8.

HOPE · July 16, 2025

The home of “awesome,” ARrC’s crunk-flavored bad-day support group disguised as a performance video. This was the release where the second lineup stopped looking temporary and the group’s encouraging, chaotic personality became easiest to explain.

CTRL+ALT+SKIID · November 3, 2025

The final release pushed rock texture, hip-hop and part-time-job chaos together. The keyboard joke in the title fit a group whose final era sounded like teenagers trying to reboot a system while adults had already located the power switch.

What ARrC actually sounded like

ARrC lived in youthful hip-hop without pretending every member had the same weight. Hyunmin, Choi Han and Jibeen built different parts of the rap spine. Doha and, originally, Ziwoo gave the group a cleaner vocal center. Kien and Rioto added lighter color and movement; Andy arrived with survival-show camera training and enough familiarity with the members to make the transition survivable.

The catalog’s best quality was not innovation-by-press-release. It was emotional usefulness. “awesome” could be loud, silly and genuinely encouraging at the same time. The group felt young without becoming motivational wallpaper, and technically trained without behaving as if every song were a final exam.

FINAL STATUS

ARrC is disbanded. Mystic Story’s official notice ended group activities on June 22, 2026. Andy, Choi Han, Doha, Hyunmin, Jibeen, Kien and Rioto were named as moving to new paths. Ziwoo had already left in January 2025. “Former member” now applies to all eight people, but their dates and lineups are not interchangeable.

THE PANDA SIDE QUEST

Watch the two lineups as two real eras

Start with WORLD OF ARrC and “S&S,” then stop at Ziwoo’s exit notice. Begin the Andy era with his introduction and nu kidz: out the box. This prevents pre-filmed uploads from turning the archive into visual soup.

Then watch “awesome” with a fixed-camera performance. It captures what ARrC did best: make youth sound supportive without becoming a school assembly anthem.

RAERAE TAKE

ARrC was just getting easier to recognize when the file closed. That is why the disbandment feels less like a graceful ending and more like somebody unplugged the game after the save finally worked. The group deserved more time. The members still deserve profiles that do not flatten twenty-two months into one red “disbanded” stamp.

The final official status

Mystic Story announced that ARrC’s group activities officially concluded on June 22, 2026. That wording matters. It closes the group chapter without inviting fans to invent contract details the notice did not disclose. Hyunmin, Kien, Choi Han, Andy, Rioto, Doha and Jibeen were the final seven-member lineup; Ziwoo belongs to the original era and left before “awesome.”

The catalog deserves a clean trail even after the ending. International fans should not have to reconstruct a group from scattered uploads, translated notices, recommendation-algorithm luck and reposted clips. The tracker below keeps the official “awesome” music video and performance version together, because separating them would repeat the exact discovery problem this hub is supposed to solve.

Why the catalog deserved a clearer international map

ARrC’s release history was not impossibly large. That is what makes the confusion irritating. “dummy” introduced the pre-debut voice, AR^C established the first official era, nu kidz: out the box carried the revised lineup forward, HOPE broadened the emotional frame, and CTRL+ALT+SKIID pushed the group toward its final chapter. A label could map that in one screen. Instead, international listeners often met isolated videos with no obvious bridge between the original lineup, Andy’s arrival and the final seven.

The weekly-content rhythm made the archive look active while the entry point stayed weak. A fan already inside the fandom knew which log, performance, visualizer or notice mattered. A new listener saw a pile of similarly branded uploads and hoped the algorithm would arrange them correctly. It rarely did. Quantity is not navigation. Publishing more material does not solve discovery when titles, playlists, translations and lineup context fail to tell the viewer where to begin.

What an international “start here” page should have done

  • Keep one chronological list of official songs, music videos, performance videos and visualizers.
  • Pin translated lineup notices beside the first release affected by each change.
  • Label original-lineup and final-lineup footage honestly instead of leaving dates to do all the explaining.
  • Connect every comeback upload through one official playlist with consistent English titles.
  • Update the page after activities end so old links do not become the only surviving history.

None of that demands an enormous overseas budget. It demands somebody owning continuity. International fans can handle Korean titles, time zones and unfamiliar platforms. What loses people is uncertainty about whether they have found the official source, the full version or the current lineup. ARrC’s music was accessible; the route to it was needlessly fragmented.

The ending does not cancel the work

A group ending before its second anniversary tempts every profile to become a post-mortem. That would flatten the members and the music into one company decision. The better archive preserves both truths: ARrC ended early, and the group still built a catalog with distinct eras, performance growth and a final lineup that deserved to be seen as more than a transition. The member cards, React and Tea files below keep those layers separate enough to follow and connected enough to make sense.

React image cards

Static cards route each exact official upload to its own in-depth React. Every card repeats that React’s featured and hero image so the archive stays visually traceable.

The official ending: what Mystic Story actually said

Mystic Story’s Weverse notice says ARrC’s group activities officially concluded in June 2026 after discussions with the members. The named final lineup was Andy, Choi Han, Doha, Hyunmin, Jibeen, Kien and Rioto, each moving toward an individual path. That is the confirmed record. The statement did not publish seven new agencies, seven solo schedules or a detailed explanation for the decision.

The date appears as June 22 in the currently rendered English Weverse notice while Korean reporting and the announcement cycle use June 23 KST. This hub preserves the notice link and labels the group’s endpoint as June 2026 rather than pretending a timezone/display discrepancy is a secret second story. The material fact is unchanged: official group activity ended before the second debut anniversary.

Weverse later announced termination of ARrC’s paid digital membership service on July 7, including automatic cancellation and refund rules. That administrative closure matters because it confirms the fan infrastructure was being shut down, not paused for an ordinary hiatus. Fans deserved that practical information quickly; they also deserved a clearer long-term archive than disappearing menus and expired memberships usually leave behind.

A two-year timeline with three different lineups

ARrC debuted on August 19, 2024 under Mystic Story with Hyunmin, Kien, Choi Han, Rioto, Doha, Jibeen and Ziwoo. The name expanded to Always Remember the real Connection, a lovely promise for a group whose public history would become a test of whether companies remember that fans need continuity too.

Ziwoo left in January 2025 for personal reasons, with Mystic Story warning that prerecorded material could still include him. Nine days after the departure announcement, the company confirmed former Project 7 contestant Andy would join the team. That produced a seven-member final lineup, but it did not make original-lineup footage incorrect. The archive has to label participation by date rather than retroactively swapping one person into another person’s work.

The official 2026 ending named the seven final members and sent them toward separate paths. Ziwoo’s earlier departure belongs in a different column because his ARrC membership had already ended. His later artist activity belongs on the same canonical person page, not on a duplicate profile pretending the group chapter and solo chapter happened to different humans.

The catalog makes more sense in order

The pre-debut single “dummy” introduced ARrC’s playful rhythmic identity before AR^C made the official debut argument. “S&S (sour and sweet)” balanced youthful brightness with a slightly crooked edge, while the B-sides showed that the group was not limited to one school-uniform setting.

nu kidz: out the box became the first major final-lineup test after Ziwoo’s exit and Andy’s arrival. That release had to do two jobs: sell songs and convince viewers that the reconfigured team was an actual performance unit rather than a casting update. “nu kidz” and “awesome” leaned into buoyancy, group chemistry and movement that made the transition visible without turning it into a funeral for the original lineup.

HOPE widened the emotional frame, and CTRL+ALT+SKIID became the late-catalog marker before activity ended. The titles were not the discovery problem. The problem was official navigation scattered across notices, albums, performance videos and platform feeds. A fan should not need spreadsheet instincts to learn which seven people appear in a comeback.

Why “awesome” remains the cleanest entry point

“awesome” works because the video lets pressure become ridiculous instead of prestigious. School stress, bad momentum and supernatural disruption turn into a collective escape route. The song does not claim a hook fixes anxiety. It understands that friends acting foolish together can interrupt a terrible day long enough for breathing room.

The performance version exposes why the final lineup clicked. Choi Han and Rioto help organize movement through different technical strengths; vocal colors prevent the bright concept from becoming weightless; Andy enters as a member rather than a visiting storyline. Fixed formations make the handoffs easier to audit than a narrative MV full of props and cuts.

The exact React remains linked through its own card and unique local image. This hub uses the group portrait for its hero, featured and social surfaces; member pages use individual portraits; the React uses its official-video still. One ecosystem does not mean one attachment recycled until every card becomes visually meaningless.

What the ending does and does not prove

A short lifespan does not prove the members lacked talent, the songs had no audience or one lineup change doomed the group. It proves the project ended. Any stronger causal claim needs evidence the official statement did not provide. The K-pop internet loves filling corporate silence with a villain, a secret feud and a five-part financial theory before breakfast. This archive will not turn speculation into biography.

The ending does justify criticism of continuity. Mystic Story launched its first boy group, managed a departure and addition, released multiple projects, then closed activity before year two. International discovery remained fragmented across platform conventions that reward fans already paying attention. A strong catalog cannot build its own signposts.

Each member profile therefore ends with a dated status, not the vague word inactive. Confirmed future projects will be added when official sources announce them. Until then, “pursuing individual paths” is a company statement, not evidence that seven solo debuts are scheduled.

RaeRae verdict

ARrC did not need mythology after the ending. They needed an honest map: who performed when, which release belongs to which lineup, where the official notice lives and what remains unknown. The music can be enjoyed without rewriting the administrative mess into destiny.

Start with “dummy,” move through AR^C, watch the final lineup settle in nu kidz: out the box, then follow HOPE and CTRL+ALT+SKIID to the endpoint. Use “awesome” when you want the quickest explanation of why this group was fun. Use the member profiles when you want the labor divided accurately instead of calling seven people ‘the boys’ and moving on.

Bottom line: ARrC’s activity ended in June 2026, but a short career is still a career. The archive owes the members exact credits, the fans a navigable timeline and the company enough scrutiny that ‘new journeys’ does not become a magic phrase erasing everything between debut and goodbye.
