How AHOF happened
Universe League treated trainees like sports teams. Forty-two contestants were divided into Beat, Groove, and Rhythm, then traded, benched, promoted, and voted through a system designed to make normal trainee anxiety look like a tournament bracket.
Team Rhythm won the Prism Cup. Its seven final members, Steven, Jeongwoo, Shuaibo, JL, Juwon, Chih En, and Daisuke, entered the group. Woongki from Team Beat and Han from Team Groove joined as the highest-voted contestants from the two losing teams. That is how an expected eight became nine.
Why the lineup is unusual
AHOF does not have one shared starting line. Steven and Woongki arrived with previous debuts. JL came from the Filipino group PLUUS. Shuaibo had competed in China. Chih En had trained under Pledis. Daisuke debuted while still in middle-school age. The gap in industry experience is enormous, which makes the group interesting and occasionally visible in the choreography.
The debut era
WHO WE ARE arrived on July 1, 2025 with “Rendezvous.” The title promised a future meeting while the video treated nine incomplete boys as people running toward the same point. A separate performance film released July 21 removed most of the narrative and displayed the group geometry across fields and stadium spaces.
FOHA, the fandom name, reverses AHOF and expands into “Forever Our Home, AHOF.” It is sentimental and slightly engineered. Fandom names usually are.
Music and performance identity
AHOF’s early material leans into youth, unfinished dreams, reunion, and the emotional hangover left by a survival show. The strongest asset is contrast. Han and JL can anchor melody. Steven adds a lower rap color. Woongki knows exactly where a camera is. The younger members bring speed and visible growth.
