Before ZEROBASEONE
Jiwoong debuted before ZEROBASEONE in the groups INX, ATEEN, and B.I.T. Those projects did not give him a clean upward line. Contract disputes and unstable management made his pre-BOYS PLANET career look more like an obstacle course than a launch plan. He also worked as a model and actor, including BL dramas that brought him a separate audience.
Career
On BOYS PLANET, he was initially packaged as the intimidating handsome older trainee. Then he kept being soft, awkward, and emotionally direct. He finished eighth and became the group’s eldest member rather than its leader. In the five-member continuation, he balances ZEROBASEONE with acting and individual work.
