Before debut
Before joining ICHILLIN, Jiyoon became familiar to survival-show viewers through Girls Planet 999. She competed independently, which meant there was no large agency machine waiting behind her when the show ended. KM Entertainment announced her as ICHILLIN’s new member in October 2022, and she first recorded with the group on Draw (My Time) that November.
Career with ICHILLIN
Jiyoon officially entered ICHILLIN in 2022, not at the group’s 2021 launch. That distinction matters when reading her career: the earlier debut material belongs to the original lineup, while “Draw (My Time)” marks the first release built with her voice in the team. Her arrival followed Sohee’s departure and began the seven-member configuration that continued through the group’s later releases.
