The full plot · Continued

The numbers rise because Bell’s entire emotional life has become fuel

Bell returns from the Minotaur rescue unable to separate gratitude from humiliation. Aiz Wallenstein did not merely help him; she destroyed the monster his Level One attacks could not scratch. He asks Eina about her, learns the scale of the distance and turns that distance into a goal. When Hestia updates his status, a new Skill has appeared: Realis Phrase. Desire accelerates his growth, with stronger desire producing stronger results. Hestia understands the mechanism and hides it from him because the city would treat the Skill as property before anybody asked what it was doing to the boy.

Bell’s improvement is spectacular and structurally lonely. Hestia Familia has no senior members, supporter or party. He invents training, carries every stone and drop item and absorbs every risk himself. Miach’s potions and Eina’s instruction are the network keeping the supposed solo adventurer alive. When Bete Loga turns the Minotaur rescue into tavern entertainment, Bell hears his private shame spoken aloud. Aiz does not laugh, but Bell runs before he can see the distinction and descends too far into the Dungeon.

The sixth-floor run is not a triumphant training montage. Bell is cut apart, improvises with a Wall Shadow finger blade and chooses to fight toward the exit. Hestia spends the night searching Orario, first furious and then terrified. When he returns shredded, she stops demanding answers and tends the injuries. Bell finally says he wants strength. Hestia shows him the extraordinary numbers but withholds the Skill’s name. Their new promise is mutual: she will support his growth, and he will stop treating his life as expendable.

Hestia turns devotion into debt, craft and a weapon that can grow

Hestia goes to Hephaistos because Bell’s growth has already outpaced ordinary equipment. She kneels outside the smith goddess’s office for two days and asks for a living weapon. The request is not a handout. Hestia accepts a debt that may take decades to repay. Hephaistos forges a blade with its own status, one that works only for Hestia Familia and develops alongside its user. Hestia delays presenting it because Monsterphilia gives the two-person household a rare chance to spend an ordinary day together.

The date is playful until Freya changes the festival into an experiment. She charms the guards, steals the cage keys and releases a silverback specifically to test Bell. The monster ignores him and hunts Hestia, proving that intelligence is steering it. Bell repeatedly intercepts blows meant for her, then reveals the fear underneath the sacrifice: his grandfather was killed by a monster, and he cannot survive losing another family.

Daidaros Street is a victory built by more people than the crowd can see

Bell locks Hestia behind a gate and tries to become the decoy. Hestia refuses to let “protection” mean he gets to decide alone who is expendable. She returns, reveals the knife and updates Bell’s status while the silverback closes in. Realis Phrase converts the last days of struggle into a massive jump, and the living blade awakens with him.

Bell drives the knife into the monster’s magic-stone core and wins in one committed strike. The crowd sees a rookie producing a heroic reversal. The plot has already shown the receipts: Hestia’s faith and debt, Hephaistos’s craft, Eina’s lessons, Miach’s potion, Bell’s training and Bell’s choice all occupy the blow. Freya approves from above because her experiment produced the courage she wanted to see. Her satisfaction does not erase the civilians or the fact that Hestia was used as bait.

Afterward, Aiz learns that the white-haired novice killed the silverback and decides again to find him and apologize. Syr gives Hestia a room at the Benevolent Mistress. Hestia finally explains the knife, the kneeling and the debt, then says she loves Bell. Bell answers with tears and an embrace. Hestia hilariously reads romantic confirmation into the moment, but the more durable ending is family: two rejected people have chosen to keep writing one another’s story.
