ifeye Put Sasha’s Health Before the Comeback Clock, Then Brought Her Back Carefully
A teenage main vocalist took a health hiatus, the group promoted as five, and the official return came with medical language instead of mystery fog.

What Happened
Hi-Hat Entertainment announced in January 2026 that Sasha would pause activities after medical consultation. The language mattered. The company referred to accumulated psychological fatigue and said she needed sufficient rest. ifeye continued as five while the youngest member stepped away.
This was not a quiet disappearance followed by fans reconstructing a timeline from airport photos. The agency gave a reason, described the medical input, and said the return date would depend on recovery. That is the bare minimum, but K-pop has trained us to applaud the bare minimum when it involves sleep.
The Return
On June 15, Hi-Hat posted a formal return notice through Mnet Plus. It said Sasha had completed a period of rest and recovery, and that the decision was made after discussion with Sasha and medical professionals. The first plan placed her return at the APAC tour. A later notice moved her first activity forward to July 1.
That extra update is the piece I like. “She is returning” did not automatically become “throw her into every schedule immediately.” The timeline was adjusted as her condition allowed. That sounds like an actual recovery plan instead of a press release written around a calendar.
RaeRae Take
I do not need a sixteen-year-old idol to prove commitment by collapsing prettily under stage lights. Sasha is the main vocalist and a key part of ifeye’s sound, but she is also a teenager. The group survived five-member schedules. The fans survived waiting. Everybody can survive treating health as more important than content.
