The profile
Why the rabbit hole starts here
Hephaistos governs one of Orario’s greatest production Familias. Her authority rests on craft rather than ornamental divinity, and her relationship with Welf becomes compelling because she does not lower the bar to reward sincerity.
Volume 8 development · Full spoilers
The everyday-story volume changes the file.
Volume 8 lets Welf speak plainly and gives Hephaistos room to receive the confession without turning into a prize. The reveal of the eye she hides matters because Welf’s answer is immediate: he sees her. But acceptance still becomes a challenge. He must forge something worthy of her, which is exactly the kind of promise their relationship can survive.
