BABYMONSTER opened the 2026-27 CHOOM world tour with three Seoul concerts at Jamsil Indoor Stadium, and this was not a tiny “new era” showcase wearing a tour wig. The announced Asia and Oceania run covers 18 cities and 29 concerts, with more regions still being teased.
The actual set-list story
The group pulled from basically every version of itself: “WE GO UP,” “CHOOM,” “BATTER UP,” “DRIP,” “SHEESH,” “PSYCHO,” “FOREVER,” “WILD,” “HOT SAUCE,” “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA,” “I LIKE IT,” and the softer songs people always claim they want until the bass starts again. That matters because the show is no longer built around proving BABYMONSTER has enough music to tour. They do. The new problem is choosing what survives.
The solo-stage rabbit hole
The cover stages instantly became their own fandom economy. Rora returned to “Havana,” Asa folded Korean traditional styling into “Temple,” Pharita chose “Super Bass,” Chiquita took on “Buttons” and “Worth It,” Ruka went for “RATATA,” and Ahyeon used “Problem” as a vocal flex. Covers are technically intermissions. Fans, naturally, treated them like six separate comeback investigations.
Why the six-member frame is still the loud part
The tour coverage celebrates the scale, but the visual reality is still six performers while BABYMONSTER remains officially described as seven. That is not scandal bait; it is the basic context fans are carrying into every formation and every group photo. Until Rami’s health situation changes, the group is simultaneously expanding and visibly incomplete.

This is the moment BABYMONSTER stopped looking like a rookie group with a promising concert and started looking like an act building a touring institution. The solo choices are messy, revealing, and much more interesting than six identical stages designed by committee. Let them be weird. The group already has polish. Personality is the rarer currency.
