BABYMONSTER Opened the CHOOM Tour—and the Solo Stages Immediately Became the Side Quest
Three sold-out Seoul shows, a live band, handheld microphones, six solo covers and a five-continent promise: the CHOOM tour is no longer a poster with ambitious geography. It is a working concert, and the individual stages are the part fans started trading like personality evidence.

The opening weekend stopped being theoretical
BABYMONSTER opened its second world tour at Seoul’s Jamsil Indoor Stadium on June 26, 27 and 28, 2026. All three shows sold out, and YG released additional restricted-view seats. That is the useful ticket-power receipt: people paid to look around a structural obstacle because being inside mattered more than seeing every corner of the LED wall.
The set opened with “WE GO UP” over a live band, then moved through “CHOOM,” “BATTER UP,” “DRIP” and the group’s expanding catalog. YG’s official report emphasized handheld microphones and live vocals. Company reports naturally write as if no note has ever met pitch correction, but the concert footage still gives fans something real to inspect: breath, stamina, ad-libs and how the six active members carry transitions without Rami.

Solo covers are not solo debuts. They are cleaner personality tests than another member-color quiz. Everybody begins with a known song, then has to make a few minutes feel like their own room.
The tour scale
YG announced five continents: Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America and South America. The first detailed legs covered Seoul and multiple Japanese cities, including special Kyocera Dome Osaka shows. More dates and regional logistics continue to roll out, which is why this file stays open.
The phrase “29 dates” described the announced working schedule at the time of the original post, not a sacred final number. Tour totals change when shows are added, moved or split. The official ticket page wins over an old graphic every time.

The missing seventh lane
Rami remains on health hiatus. The official group is seven; the current concert is performed by six. Her absence belongs in the tour file without turning every solo into speculation about her return.

The group numbers are impressive, but the solo covers are the reason this tour becomes more than a larger version of a music-show set. BABYMONSTER’s public brand says everybody can do everything. Six separate stages force the company to admit that “all-rounder” does not mean interchangeable.
I also like that the choices are not painfully respectable. “Super Bass,” “Worth It” and “Problem” understand a concert is allowed to be fun. Nobody bought a soundcheck ticket to attend a conservatory final.
