The sub-leader carried both main rap and main dance positions, which is company language for “please hold the performance together while also looking relaxed.”

Before ARrC: two almost-debuts and a survival-show number

Choi Han entered ARrC with more public history than the word “rookie” suggests. He trained at Around US Entertainment, competed on MBC’s Wild Idol as contestant 44 and later appeared in the WITHUS BEGINS trainee team. None of those routes became his official debut. They did, however, teach him how to make decisions under a camera before ARrC had a fandom name.

Survival shows turn people into rankings because rankings fit on screens. The better file is what remained after the number disappeared: fast adjustment, visible physical confidence and enough stage awareness to make a new group look less new. By the time Mystic Story placed him in ARrC, Choi Han had already practiced the very specific art of beginning again without acting embarrassed about the previous beginning.

Sub-leader, main rapper and main dancer is not a decorative résumé

Choi Han debuted on August 19, 2024 as sub-leader, main rapper and main dancer. That is three jobs sitting on the structural side of a performance. Hyunmin carried the formal leader and main-rapper file; Choi Han helped turn direction into movement. When choreography needed an anchor or a rap passage needed physical attack, he often supplied the hard edge.

The sub-leader title matters because ARrC was multilingual and young. Leadership was not only speeches. It was remembering formations, reading the room, helping a transition land and staying composed when the lineup changed in January 2025. When Ziwoo left and Andy joined, Choi Han became part of the bridge between the original seven and the second seven.

The ARrC music file

ReleaseChoi Han’s chapter
AR^C · August 19, 2024The original debut introduced the main rapper/main dancer combination. “S&S (sour and sweet)” let him switch between rhythmic force and clean group geometry.
nu kidz: out the box · February 18, 2025The first Andy-era release needed the lineup to look settled immediately. Boom-bap and retro styling rewarded his control rather than asking for rookie nervousness.
HOPE · July 16, 2025“awesome” put crunk energy, group shouting and encouragement in one room. Choi Han is one of the people who makes the chaos look rehearsed instead of accidental.
CTRL+ALT+SKIID · November 3, 2025The final release mixed rock tension and hip-hop movement. His performance background made the concept’s physical comedy and aggression live in the same body.

Why the stage file felt older than the group

Choi Han performs with force, but force is not the same as rushing. His strongest moments are the ones where he looks like he knows exactly how much space the next beat needs. That is survival-show training and repeated pre-debut work becoming useful rather than traumatic backstory decoration.

ARrC’s catalog never gave him a full solo chapter, so the evidence is distributed across formations, dance breaks, rap entrances and live stages. Fans looking only at line counts miss part of his job. Main dancer is often visible in how the people around him stay synchronized, not just in who receives the longest center shot.

The ending cut off the explanation

Mystic Story announced ARrC’s disbandment on June 23, 2026, before the second anniversary. Choi Han had spent years moving between systems before finally receiving an official group name, then lost that group after four releases. The clean corporate word is “conclusion.” The human version is another performer being asked to turn years of preparation into a short archive and start over again.

His public Instagram, @han_s.theme, matters because it keeps the next chapter attached to the same person. A former-group label should help fans follow the trail, not bury him inside an expired lineup.

The panda side quests

  • Gym file: exercise is one of his hobbies, which surprises nobody who has watched the attack in his dancing.
  • Quiet shelf: books and clothes sit beside YouTube in his offstage interests. Not every main dancer spends the day doing dramatic lunges.
  • Comfort food: ramyeon. The trainee constitution remains undefeated.
  • Hard no list: seafood, insects, ghosts and pain.
  • Risk contradiction: he reportedly wants to skydive and bungee jump despite disliking pain. The waiver is somebody else’s problem.

Fandom notes and things the fact box misses

  • Name: Choi Han is both his birth name and stage name.
  • Survival-show shorthand: Wild Idol, contestant 44. That number is a route marker, not his identity.
  • Leadership: sub-leader in both ARrC lineups.
  • Performance: main rapper and main dancer. He carried rhythm with his voice and his body.
  • Contradiction worth keeping: stage force, books, clothing interest, ghost avoidance and a desire to jump out of the sky all belong to the same person.
  • Post-group file: ARrC ended; Choi Han’s career did not receive an ending notice.
RaeRae take: Choi Han is exactly why a short profile is unfair. “Main rapper, main dancer, former Wild Idol contestant” sounds complete until you notice it explains none of the person. He had already survived two almost-debuts, then became a structural performer and sub-leader in a group that lasted less than two years. The stage says force because he earned control. The side quests say books, clothes and absolutely no ghosts. I need both files, because motivational wallpaper does not dance like that.
