She was born in Seoul and moved to Chowol-eup, Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. What got her into K-pop was BTS‘s “Answer : Love Myself”. Yeonji loves chocolate. She has an older and younger brother.

tripleS career

Kwak YeonJi is S12 (BINARY 01) in tripleS, MODHAUS’s rotating 24-member group. The number is reveal order, not a ranking. Members move through full-group releases and smaller Dimensions selected through the Cosmo voting system.

Her recorded unit and debut trail includes EVOLution <⟡ (MUJUK)>.

S12 reveal and final Binary member

MODHAUS introduced Kwak YeonJi as S12 in January 2023. The S number records reveal order, not rank. Her reveal completed the first twelve-member phase associated with the Binary identities and expanded the project immediately before the 2023 full-group and Dimension releases.

YeonJi’s public career begins with the official reveal and tripleS content that followed. Pre-debut interests and family facts can add context, but they should not carry more weight than recordings, performances, interviews, and the actual team roles documented after debut.

EVOLution debut

YeonJi became part of EVOLution, the eight-member Dimension that debuted in October 2023 with ⟡ and “Invincible.” The unit placed her with members from several reveal phases and gave her a first formal music identity inside a smaller team rather than the complete 24-member group.

“Invincible” stages and dance practices are the best starting point for her early performance record. An eight-member formation returns to each member frequently enough to show expression and transition work, while still requiring the ensemble discipline central to tripleS.

Full-group and later Dimension work

YeonJi participated in the completed 24-member ASSEMBLE24 project and “Girls Never Die” in 2024. She later entered other fan-selected combinations, including the 2025 msnz project. Those assignments should be tracked chronologically because tripleS Dimensions are release teams, not permanent departures from the full group.

Her progression is therefore a change in scale: early SIGNAL and reveal content, an eight-member debut, a 24-member title track, and later smaller units. Each format asks for different camera timing, vocal distribution, and formation awareness.

Performance and content identity

YeonJi’s official role remains broad, which is more honest than forcing a permanent vocalist, rapper, or dancer rank onto a changing-unit system. Her performance file should grow from credited songs, full cams, dance practices, and live material. SIGNAL episodes and member-focused content document communication and personality, but they do not replace musical evidence.
