The profile
The handsome administrator who turns addiction, debt and divine absence into a business model—and mistakes Lilly’s survival for proof she can still be owned.
Zanis is dangerous because he does not need the emotional chaos Apollo prefers. He has ledgers, contracts, guards and a god too detached to inspect how authority is being used. Divine Wine supplies dependency. Zanis converts dependency into obedience and obedience into profit.
Lilly’s return appears to confirm his system until it destroys it. She resists the wine, forces Soma to look at the person in front of him and exposes the operation Zanis built beneath divine indifference. His control ends because the child he classified as recoverable property arrives with a self he cannot administrate away.
