The profile

The veteran in the room when Aiz asks the impossible growth question—the kind of fighter whose silence carries years of Dungeon receipts.

Gareth appears with Finn and Riveria during Aiz’s middle-floor interlude. Bell’s record has disturbed the assumptions behind normal growth, and Aiz is testing those assumptions against the people most qualified to answer.

His role is not to steal the scene with exposition. He gives the conversation weight. Loki Familia’s highest-level fighters know the Status system intimately, and Bell’s six-week rise still produces a question their experience cannot comfortably close.

What the War Game changes for Gareth Landrock

Loki Familia executive · Veteran observer · Alive

Gareth belongs to the layer of Orario power that understands how small the attacking Hestia team looks on paper. He has the experience to read the gap between famous numbers and battlefield structure, especially once Welf’s weapons and Mikoto’s control magic change what the castle can safely assume.

His limited direct role is honest to the politics. Volume 6 does not need every powerful ally to invade the plot. It needs the city’s established veterans to witness that Bell’s circle has begun producing answers normally associated with far larger Familias.

Scale

A veteran reads the mismatch

Five attackers against a fortress should be a short lesson in arithmetic. The plan refuses that arithmetic.

Craft

Weapons change architecture

Crozzo swords force even experienced observers to reassess what one smith can add to a tiny household.

Result

The rookie now has a formation

Bell’s victory stops looking like isolated talent when a new Familia can build a functioning siege around him.

Current spoiler boundary

This biography now runs through Volume 6.

Later developments remain sealed until their owned Kindle volume receives its own completed reading pass.
