Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?

Bell Cranel went into the Dungeon looking for the heroic life his grandfather sold him. Orario handed him gods, monsters, debt, politics, a tiny Familia and approximately nine thousand people with opinions about his love life.

This is the franchise door. Light novels live here now. Manga and anime will join as their own routes later, sharing the same characters, major plot architecture, themes, Reacts, Rants and Novel 101 files where the evidence is genuinely the same.

Overview

The same city. The same cast. Different adaptation receipts.

The franchise begins with Fujino Omori’s light novels and expands into manga and animation. CVM will not pretend those formats are interchangeable. A shared character can keep one canonical biography, while a book review, manga-volume review and anime-episode React remain separate records because adaptation changes are the whole point of having receipts.

The franchise hub is the map. The light-novel hub is the bookshelf. Individual volume hubs are where the spoilers get specific.

The verdict

One review for every volume. One separate series verdict.

Volume reviews stay attached to the book actually read. The light-novel-series verdict will not pretend Volume 1 can answer for twenty books.

Reacts · Rants · Novel 101

Rants

Complaints with chapter receipts, including the title problem and every preventable god-level communication failure.

The franchise routes back to one author file covering the light novels and connected written works. The profile separates verifiable biography from what the books themselves demonstrate about long-form construction.

On the record

What is finished—and what stays unopened.

CVM currently records RaeRae’s ownership and complete sequential reading of English light-novel Volumes 1–8. All eight book hubs are published. Manga and anime routes remain deliberately unopened rather than padded with generic adaptation copy.
