Ninja Scroll’s cast is small enough to remember and complicated enough to deserve more than a villain roster. This directory begins with the people carrying the movie and television continuation, then follows their loyalties, bodies, techniques, trauma, and choices through a world where nearly every institution treats human beings as disposable tools.
Each profile has a visible image card and its own destination. Jubei, Kagero, Dakuan, and the central antagonists should be read as people inside systems of coercion and survival, not reduced to signature attacks or the most notorious scene attached to their name.

How to use this character directory
Begin with Jubei, Kagero, Dakuan, and Genma for the movie’s emotional and political center. Every image card opens a full character file covering history, relationships, techniques, coercion, choices, harm, and Japanese performance. Television-series figures remain labeled by that branch so a shared name or design never becomes an excuse to merge incompatible histories.
A profile is not a powers list. Ninja Scroll matters because ability is repeatedly turned into ownership: poison becomes a job, immortality becomes impunity, and strength becomes permission to decide who else is disposable. The files follow the person living inside the technique.
