K-pop co-ed group · five separate résumés · one shared project

ALLDAY PROJECT

Active co-ed group · 2025–present

ALLDAY PROJECT did not arrive looking like five rookies waiting for permission. Annie, Tarzzan, Bailey, Woochan and Youngseo debuted with different histories, different performance instincts and enough pre-debut conversation to bury an ordinary group.

RaeRae take

This group works because the members do not melt into one tidy personality. Annie looks composed until the beat asks for teeth. Bailey moves like the choreography began in her spine. Woochan understands where to punch a verse. Youngseo knows how to make a camera feel personally addressed. Tarzzan performs like subtlety owes him money. That should be chaos. When the song is strong, it becomes chemistry.

The co-ed format is not a cute footnote. It changes the formations, the vocal colors, the styling and the way the members pass attention around. ALLDAY PROJECT feels most convincing when the production lets all five people remain recognizably themselves.

Meet the members

Annie of ALLDAY PROJECT

Annie

Vocalist and rapper. Her public story includes years of training, a high-profile family background and the burden of proving that access and ability are not the same thing.

Tarzzan of ALLDAY PROJECT

Tarzzan

Rapper and performer. He brings fashion-model proportions, contemporary-dance control and an image that creates as much debate as it does attention.

Bailey of ALLDAY PROJECT

Bailey

Dancer, choreographer and vocalist. Before debuting as an idol, she had already built an international dance career and worked with major pop artists.

Woochan of ALLDAY PROJECT

Woochan

Rapper and vocalist. Korean audiences knew him from Show Me the Money 6 long before ALLDAY PROJECT, so his debut was a return with a new team rather than a first introduction.

Youngseo of ALLDAY PROJECT

Youngseo

Vocalist and performer. Her survival-show history made her familiar to fans, but this group gave her a different kind of stage and a less predictable identity.

The history file

Before June 2025: five stories, no shared origin myth

The members entered THEBLACKLABEL from very different directions. Annie carried the most visible family narrative. Bailey had a serious professional dance résumé. Woochan had already been televised as a young rapper. Youngseo had survival-show recognition. Tarzzan had modeling, dance and a sharply defined visual identity. The company did not sell them as blank trainees discovering themselves together. It sold the collision.

That difference matters. Many rookie groups introduce members through carefully rationed clips and personality facts. ALLDAY PROJECT arrived with fans already holding opinions. The debut had to turn individual recognition into a reason to care about the five-person configuration.

June 23, 2025: FAMOUS makes the introduction

The official debut single album paired “FAMOUS” with “WICKED.” “FAMOUS” understood the assignment immediately. It presented expensive confidence without pretending the members were anonymous underdogs. “WICKED” pushed harder and gave the lineup room to sound less polished around the edges. The pairing established the central tension that still makes the group interesting: luxury presentation versus restless, sometimes abrasive performance energy.

According to Melon’s official song record, “FAMOUS” was released on June 23, 2025. The credits also show member participation, including Tarzzan, Woochan and Youngseo. That is important because the group’s identity cannot rest only on casting and styling. Their strongest case is the work they help shape.

Late 2025: the first mini album

Yonhap reported that ALLDAY PROJECT’s first mini album arrived on December 8, 2025 with six tracks. “ONE MORE TIME” came first as a pre-release, followed by “LOOK AT ME” as the title track. The releases widened the group’s range instead of repeating the debut exactly. “ONE MORE TIME” leaned into a summer-night looseness despite its calendar timing. “LOOK AT ME” turned a childlike rhythmic idea into something glossy and knowingly demanding.

The chart response showed that the debut attention was not a one-week curiosity. Yonhap reported that “ONE MORE TIME” climbed to number two on Melon’s Top 100 and number four on its daily chart. The group was building a catalog, not living off a launch headline.

Why the co-ed format works

K-pop still treats mixed-gender groups as an exception, which means every interaction gets overread. A formation can become a dating rumor. A shared glance becomes a theory. A line distribution becomes evidence that the company favors one gender. ALLDAY PROJECT cannot control that machinery, but the members can make the format artistically necessary.

Bailey and Tarzzan can stretch a formation in completely different ways. Annie and Youngseo bring contrasting camera energy. Woochan can ground a rap section without forcing the women into decorative positions around him. When choreography uses those differences, the group looks like a group that could not be recreated by simply replacing two members with backup dancers.

ALLDAY PROJECT is most fun when five strong résumés stop competing for the introduction and start arguing inside the same song.

Start with the music

“FAMOUS”

The clearest introduction to the group’s expensive, slightly confrontational confidence. Start here if you want to understand why the debut became a conversation so quickly.

“WICKED”

The rougher sibling. It gives the rappers and dancers more room to make the performance feel dangerous instead of merely polished.

“ONE MORE TIME”

A lighter, more relaxed release that proves the members do not need maximum aggression to keep their separate colors visible.

“LOOK AT ME”

Bright, repetitive and deliberately sticky. The nursery-rhyme instinct will either charm you or haunt your kitchen for three days.

Awards without turning this into a trophy warehouse

The first awards cycle confirmed that the Korean industry was treating ALLDAY PROJECT as more than a novelty. THEBLACKLABEL’s official profile lists the 2025 Melon Music Awards New Artist of the Year and Best Music Style honors, MAMA’s Breakthrough Artist award, multiple Asia Artist Awards, Korea Grand Music Awards recognition and The Fact Music Awards’ Global Next Leader honor. The group also received rookie recognition at the 40th Golden Disc Awards and the 2026 D-AWARDS.

Award lists are not a personality, and no trophy can make a weak chorus good. Here, the useful point is simpler: the group’s unusual structure did not prevent rapid mainstream recognition in Korea.

The questions that follow the group

Did Annie buy her debut?

Her family background makes the question inevitable, but reducing her entire career to money erases the years of training and the resistance she has publicly described. Privilege deserves discussion. It is not a substitute for examining the performance in front of us. Read the related tea with receipts.

Why is Tarzzan’s image controversial?

His repeated use of hairstyles and visual codes associated with Black culture has drawn criticism that cannot be dismissed as people simply disliking him. Intent is not the only issue. Repetition, context and the industry’s habit of borrowing Black aesthetics without equal respect all belong in the conversation. Read the related tea analysis.

Member chemistry, without forcing five people into one box

Annie often functions as a stabilizer in interviews and performances. She can sell luxury without looking swallowed by it, which matters in a group whose company knows exactly how expensive everything appears. Youngseo is more openly elastic on camera. Her expressions can soften a formation or sharpen it depending on who stands beside her. The contrast keeps the vocal line from feeling interchangeable.

Woochan’s experience shows in the economy of his delivery. He does not need to turn every bar into an audition. Bailey’s advantage is not simply that she is “the dancer.” She understands how a movement reads from the audience and from the lens, and those are not always the same thing. Tarzzan is the most polarizing member because he pushes every image choice until it becomes impossible to ignore. That intensity can be useful onstage, but it also means his styling choices deserve serious scrutiny rather than automatic defense.

The group still has to develop the kind of shared history that older teams earn through years of touring, bad encores, accidental spoilers and arguments nobody fully explains. What they already have is tension, and pop music needs tension more than it needs five people pretending to share one brain.

Discography path

FAMOUS single album (2025)

The debut release contains “FAMOUS” and “WICKED.” Treat the two songs as a matched introduction. “FAMOUS” is the polished front door: status, confidence and a hook designed to announce names. “WICKED” is the room behind it, with harder edges and more space for attitude. Together they explain the group faster than a dozen trainee diaries could.

ALLDAY PROJECT first mini album (2025)

The six-track project moved the group beyond the debut thesis. “ONE MORE TIME” and “LOOK AT ME” received the most visible rollout, but the album’s real job was to test whether ADP could carry multiple moods without losing its identity. It is the point where listeners can stop asking whether a co-ed lineup is interesting and start asking whether the songs are.

Performance language

ALLDAY PROJECT’s formations are strongest when they do not divide into “the boys” and “the girls.” The appeal is in interruption. A rapper crosses a vocal line. A dancer redirects the center. A member who looked secondary in one eight-count becomes the reason the next section lands. The camera should feel curious about all five people, not obligated to distribute seconds like classroom supplies.

The group also benefits from size. Five members are enough for shape changes but few enough that nobody can hide indefinitely. Every weak transition becomes visible. Every strong performer can change the balance of an entire stage. That pressure is healthy if the choreography is built for the actual lineup rather than adapted from habits designed for a single-gender group.

Fan rabbit holes

Watch the pre-debut work

Bailey’s dance history, Woochan’s televised rap career and Youngseo’s survival-show appearances explain why the group looked unusually camera-ready at debut. These are not spoilers. They are the prologue.

Compare music-show stages

The same song can reveal different centers depending on blocking, styling and camera direction. “FAMOUS” is especially useful because the members were still negotiating how five individual brands should share one frame.

Read Korean coverage too

English-language fandom often treats the group as a social experiment. Korean reporting is more likely to frame the chart results, rookie awards, company strategy and the return of a major co-ed act. Both views matter.

Follow the credits

Member participation is more useful than vague “self-produced” branding. Check the actual song records, distinguish lyric credits from composition and arrangement, and do not award creative control the paperwork does not show.

What still needs time

A fast debut can create the illusion that a group already has a complete legacy. ALLDAY PROJECT does not. The first year proved that people would look, listen and argue. The next question is whether the catalog will grow deep enough that the members are remembered for more than the circumstances surrounding their launch.

The group also has to decide how much of its identity belongs to THEBLACKLABEL’s familiar visual vocabulary. Sleek styling and hip-hop references can introduce a team, but they cannot remain the entire vocabulary forever. The members are distinct enough to support stranger choices, stronger live arrangements and songs that do not sound designed by committee to preserve everyone’s market position.

That is why the project is worth following. It is not finished, and it should not be. Five people who arrived with this much history need room to become surprising.
