The beat stands heavy before it runs

“ReawakeR” is rock with a low center of gravity and a rhythm designed to move bodies. LiSA told PASH! PLUS that she asked for something powerful and grounded rather than a song whose excitement came only from speed. Sawano delivered a track that feels planted even when the arrangement accelerates around it.

The title is a coined word meaning a person who awakens again. That fits Sung Jinwoo, who turns weakness, injury and inferiority into the material of growth. LiSA connected the lyric’s refusal to erase pain with her own belief that wounds can become strength. The song does not promise a clean rebirth. It promises another rise with the damage still remembered.

Benjamin and cAnON. shaped Japanese words to land with an English-like musical flow. LiSA approached the language as part of the sound instead of treating every syllable like a subtitle. That decision lets her voice lock into Sawano’s digital-rock architecture rather than sit above it.

Felix is a partner, not a decorative feature

LiSA invited Felix after appearing on Stray Kids’ “Social Path.” She also recognized the useful cultural bridge: Solo Leveling began as a Korean story, while Stray Kids are known anime fans. More importantly, his low rap gives the song a second center.

LiSA described their exchange as passing a baton. Felix’s rapid second-verse passage accelerates the track, while her higher supporting line lets him stand at the front for a moment. She compared the collaboration with Sung Jinwoo fighting beside the shadows he has gained as allies. That is a confirmed artist interpretation, not a fan theory pasted onto two singers sharing a file.

The music clip keeps both fighters in the same world

The video places LiSA and Felix inside a dark, high-contrast environment built from red light, shadow, hard surfaces and controlled camera movement. It does not cut Felix into a separate guest box. Their scenes share the same pressure.

LiSA performs like the front line is familiar territory. Felix does not try to match her volume. His lower register changes the scale of the room. That contrast is the visual and musical hook: her voice cuts upward while his seems to arrive from beneath the floor.

The clip avoids retelling the anime scene by scene. That is the correct choice. “ReawakeR” already carries the series through its theme of repeated awakening, pain used as fuel and strength gained through allies. The artists get to remain artists instead of wearing character costumes.

RaeRae verdict

Best detail: LiSA stepping behind Felix’s low rap instead of competing with it.

Complaint: The music clip could have trusted a few shots long enough for the contrast between them to breathe.

Final call: A real collaboration, not a name attached for reach. Sawano gives them the battlefield, LiSA carries the charge and Felix makes the shadows answer.
