Mind Atitaya is the eldest member and leader of 4EVE, but “responsible one” is only the first folder. She is also a vocalist, dancer, actress, soundtrack singer and the woman who chose a risky new Thai group when a Korea-connected training route was still on the table.

Mind is what happens when the “group mom” label runs into an actual career. She can steady an interview, carry a melodic transition, show up in a film, record an OST and still leave enough room for six other personalities to remain visible. Leadership is not her entire personality. It is one job in a file that is already annoyingly full.
The part I keep coming back to is the choice. Staying with an unproven Thai girl group in 2020 looks smart now because 4EVE became huge. At the time, it was a gamble during a pandemic. Hindsight keeps trying to turn nerve into destiny. I am not letting it.

Before 4EVE, she was already building the toolkit
Mind grew through singing, dance and musical theatre rather than arriving as a blank trainee waiting for a company personality transplant. She formed a band in middle school and became more serious about dance during high school. That background matters because theatre and band work teach different kinds of listening. One asks you to hold a scene. The other asks you to hear what everybody else is doing before you decide how loud you need to be.
She entered 4EVE Girl Group Star, the Workpoint survival program that created XOXO Entertainment’s first girl group. More than a thousand applicants competed for the project. The final seven became 4EVE: Mind, Jorin, Taaom, Hannah, Fai, Punch and Aheye.
A Korea-connected route was also possible, but Mind chose the group being built in Thailand. That decision is now part of 4EVE lore because it explains more than loyalty. It explains why her biography is tied to the larger T-pop argument. She did not wait for another country’s industry to validate the work.
Leadership without permanent motherhood
Mind is the eldest member and group leader. Early on, that required more active checking, translating and emotional traffic control. As the members matured, she described learning to trust them to manage themselves and care for one another. That is healthier than turning the oldest woman into unpaid management with lip gloss.
Her useful quality is not that she makes every decision. It is that she can read the full room. Seven-person groups need somebody who can see the schedule, the interview, the performance and the human temperature at the same time. Mind can be direct when something will not work, but she does not flatten the group into one approved voice.
That balance helps explain why 4EVE feels competitive onstage without looking fragmented. Members get distinct moments. The group still arrives together.
Education, training and the years before debut
Mind completed high school at Mareewittaya School in Pattaya, then graduated from the College of Social Communication Innovation at Srinakharinwirot University. Her degree matters to the profile because she did not pause the rest of her life while waiting for entertainment work to become stable. She finished university while building the skills that eventually fed into 4EVE.
Before the survival show, she trained in dance for more than two years and entered dance competition, placing in the Top 5 during her first year of competing. Her early professional file also includes ensemble work in two major Ratchadalai stage productions, Banlang Mek and Four Reigns. That means the acting story did not begin after 4EVE became famous. Stage discipline was already in the foundation.

2017 to 2019: stage and television groundwork
Mind’s reported professional activity begins in 2017. She worked in theatre ensembles, continued dance training and developed screen experience. Game Rak Ao Khuen became one of the better-known pre-debut television credits attached to her name.
2020: the survival show decision
On 4EVE Girl Group Star, Mind did more than slip into the final lineup. She ranked first with the judges and received the highest viewer vote in the final selection. The result placed her in XOXO Entertainment’s first group, but the harder part was choosing it. In a Workpoint interview, she discussed turning away from a Korea-connected opportunity because she believed in 4EVE and wanted to build the work in Thailand.
2020 to 2022: debut, breakthrough and first-concert pressure
4EVE debuted on December 23, 2020 with “Ooh La La.” The group’s early growth ran through pandemic restrictions, the first album, “TEST ME,” “Booty Bomb,” “Vroom Vroom,” “Tears” and the expansion from new act to a group capable of mounting 4EVE The 1st Concert Friends & Family. Mind later described the large concerts as some of the most frightening and rewarding work in her file because fans had spent time and money to be there. The first view of For Aye’s pink light-stick ocean stayed with her.
2022 to 2024: leading roles, film and a larger stage
Mind took her first television leading role in Nang Nak Sapai Phra Khanong opposite Kao Jirayu. She continued with film work including My Boo, The Cliché and Kongkiat Komesiri’s Bangkok Breaking: Heaven and Hell, released through Netflix. The full 4EVE lineup also joined Nithan Hing Hoi: The Musical, reconnecting her idol career with the stage training that came before it.
2025 onward: acting and group expansion side by side
Mind continued balancing group releases with acting, including I Love “A Lot Of” You. In a 2025 HOWE Magazine interview, she drew a useful line between the jobs: performing as Mind of 4EVE lets her present herself, while acting gives her the chance to inhabit experiences she has not lived. She described 4EVE as her first priority because the group created the platform from which the other opportunities became possible.

The acting résumé starts before 4EVE. Mind had already learned ensemble discipline onstage and worked in television before the survival show. The idol career made the audience larger; it did not invent the second career.

In her 2025 HOWE interview, Mind described 4EVE as the place where she presents herself directly, while acting lets her borrow experiences and emotions she may never meet in her own life. In her GQ Thailand interview, Mind said she has read manga since primary school and still uses it as one of the main ways she decompresses outside rehearsal. She also talked about personal practice beyond the group schedule and about the members reaching a point where they naturally care for one another without needing constant elder-sister supervision.
Her interviews are unusually direct about work and money. She does not dress ambition in fake purity. Work comes first because she likes doing it; money is a necessary result of labor and a measure of independence. That bluntness is more interesting than another idol profile insisting everybody survives entirely on passion, friendship and one iced Americano.

Fandom notes and things the fact box misses
- Mind is her public nickname: her birth name is Atitaya Tribudarak. “Mind” is not a translated given name or a mysterious company invention.
- Leader does not mean permanent group mother: she has talked about learning to trust the members to manage themselves and care for one another. Eldest-member labor is still labor, even when fandom makes it sound cute.
- For Aye: 4EVE’s fandom name belongs to the whole group. Personal support should not require turning the other six members into competitors.

I am more interested in the woman who chose an uncertain Thai group, kept acting, reads manga to shut her brain off and refuses to pretend money is irrelevant. She steadies 4EVE without sanding six other women into matching furniture. That is leadership. It is not her entire personality.
