Status: Temporary hiatus for personal and health reasons; Hyuk remains a listed member of 1VERSE

Receipts level: Official company notice; no public diagnosis

Who: Hyuk · 1VERSE

What happened

Singing Beetle announced that Hyuk would pause 1VERSE activities because of personal and health reasons. The remaining members continued scheduled work. The notice did not announce his departure, a contract termination or a secret replacement. It announced a pause.

That distinction matters because K-pop fandom can turn an information gap into twenty mutually exclusive emergencies before breakfast. Hyuk had been the company”s first trainee and a central writer in the group”s pre-debut story. Fans noticed his absence immediately. Worry is reasonable. Converting worry into certainty is not.

What is actually confirmed

  • Hyuk entered a temporary hiatus in September 2025.
  • The stated reasons were personal and health related.
  • 1VERSE continued activities with the other four members.
  • Official profiles continued to identify 1VERSE as a five-member group.
  • No official notice in this file confirms withdrawal or contract termination.

Everything beyond those points—specific diagnoses, internal conflicts or permanent-departure theories—is inference. A fan repeating an inference five hundred times does not promote it into a receipt.

Why this particular absence hits differently

Hyuk is not only a rapper standing in one formation. Singing Beetle”s public story begins with him. His pre-debut mixtape Ordinary Person, writing on “MULTIVERSE” and “Shattered,” and insistence that reporters acknowledge the other four members made him part of the group”s ethical center. Fans who followed SB BOYZ watched the lineup grow around him.

That history explains the emotion, but it does not cancel the boundary. The title Ordinary Person should be a clue. Hyuk has already spent years being discussed as an escape story, a symbol and proof of possibility. Health does not become public property because the biography is unusual.

What fans should watch

Watch official Singing Beetle notices, the 1VERSE fan community and group schedules. Look for direct language: “return,” “resumes activities,” “withdrawal” or “contract.” Do not treat old footage posted during a hiatus as proof of current participation, and do not treat a birthday message as a medical bulletin.

If an update arrives, this file should be dated from that update—not quietly rewritten so the old timeline disappears.

RaeRae take: Wanting Hyuk back is affection. Demanding a diagnosis as the price of that affection is surveillance wearing a light stick. The company told us he needed time. Fans can prove they care by allowing time to remain his.
