Harin
Kim Min-ju performs as Harin, the KIIRAS center whose calm face makes six-person choreography look planned even when the song is changing genres under everybody’s boots. She was a top student, entered through a nationwide audition and became the team’s unofficial Korean-language helper, the walking encyclopedia who apparently also wants gukbap with every available meat.

The nationwide audition found the walking encyclopedia
Harin was selected through a nationwide audition and has been described as the No. 1 student at her junior high school. School rankings do not automatically create better idols, but they explain why the members keep treating her as the person likely to know an answer. Doyeon has called her a walking encyclopedia.
LeanBranding revealed Harin on April 29, 2025 during the final member rollout. Denim profile photos introduced a youthful, casual image before “KILL MA BO$$” arrived with cowboy boots and workplace rebellion. Her immediate strength was adaptation: the face from a clean rookie portrait still looked believable inside the stranger debut frame.
Center work happens while somebody else is singing
Harin’s visible value is continuity. She keeps expressions controlled between her own lines and maintains the group’s story while the camera moves to another member. That is center work people miss when they count seconds instead of watching transitions.
“ZILLER!” asks for faster electronic reaction; “BANG BANG!” needs brighter confidence; “TA TA” wants relaxed girls’-night chemistry. Harin changes temperature without replacing her entire face. Her sub-vocal role remains secondary to Kurumi and Roah’s larger vocal work, but the tone is clean and useful inside the blend.
Korean teacher is a group-life role, not a position poster
In multilingual interviews, KIIRAS has described Harin as the Korean teacher while Kurumi handles Japanese help. The label tells us how the dorm and practice room work: somebody explains phrasing, jokes and the difference between technically correct Korean and what six teenagers actually say.
Her less academic identity includes bingeing K-dramas, walking, an older brother and relentless loyalty to gukbap. The nickname “Gukbapping” exists because she wants rice soup with almost any meat. A walking encyclopedia still needs lunch.
From debut year to the 2026 comeback
KIIRAS introduced Harin as one of its first three Korean members in late April 2025. LeanBranding’s rollout emphasized two things that still shape her public profile: she had been selected through a nationwide audition, and she had ranked first in her grade during middle school. The company paired those academic details with her clear features and a mysterious visual tone, presenting her as both a center candidate and the group member likely to notice the small details. The useful distinction is that the school story is documented background, while claims about intelligence tests or private grades beyond that announcement should not be invented.
The group released its first digital single, KILL MA BO$, on May 29, 2025. Its sound jumps between hip-hop weight, bright hooks and abrupt arrangement changes, so Harin’s center work is less about standing still in the middle than guiding the eye through transitions. KIIRAS followed with BANG BANG! and continued building a catalog around mischievous energy. Harin contributes as a supporting vocalist, but stage position is often her most visible assignment: she carries key formations, reacts cleanly to the member singing beside her and helps six different performance styles read as one group.
In April 2026, KIIRAS returned with TA TA, the group’s first comeback of that year. The release arrived roughly four months after the preceding promotion cycle and kept the team’s quick, rhythm-forward identity intact. Harin remained part of the six-member lineup with LingLing, Kurumi, Kylie, Doyeon and Roah. As of August 2026, LeanBranding has not announced her departure or a membership change, so this profile records her as active from 2025 to the present.
Voice, center work and the job between the labels
Official position lists are helpful shorthand, but they do not fully describe what Harin does. A sub-vocalist may receive fewer standalone lines while still carrying transitions, response phrases and layered group sections. Those moments require timing and blend more than vocal spectacle. Harin’s steadier delivery gives the arrangement somewhere to settle when a KIIRAS track moves quickly from rap to chant to melody.
Center is also a moving responsibility. It can mean opening a formation, anchoring a chorus picture, taking the camera during a killing part or becoming the visual reference that lets viewers understand a formation change. Harin’s controlled expressions suit that work. She rarely needs to overplay a gesture to remain readable, and that restraint creates contrast with more explosive members. Visual is therefore not a substitute for skill. In her case, it describes one part of a larger performance function built from spacing, facial control and consistency.
Inside the team, Harin has also been described as a Korean-language helper for members working across Korean, Japanese, Malay, Chinese and English. That is not an official music position, but it matters in rehearsals, interviews and everyday group life. Explaining a phrase accurately can prevent a member from memorizing sounds without meaning. It can also make jokes, fan messages and live broadcasts feel more natural. The role fits the early walking-encyclopedia image without turning her into a caricature.
What Harin says about KIIRAS becoming more involved
In a June 2026 interview with K World, Harin gave a practical account of the group’s creative development. She explained that the members had little experience at debut and therefore followed the agency’s direction closely. She also expressed gratitude for the work used to find KIIRAS’s style and said those efforts helped the team debut with strong songs and concepts. That answer is more useful than pretending a rookie group controlled every production decision from day one.
Her members added that they were gradually sharing more opinions and hoped to participate more actively in future releases, including concepts, music and broader artistic direction. For Harin, that creates a clear career question to follow: how her eye for detail and performance structure might translate into concept planning or musical choices as KIIRAS gains experience. Until credits appear, participation should be described as an ambition rather than retroactively assigning her writing or production work.
The group’s international path also became more concrete in January 2026, when Fast Track Entertainment signed a memorandum of understanding with LeanBranding to support KIIRAS’s global commercial growth. The agreement named Fast Track as a global representative for the group. It does not guarantee a particular tour or market, but it shows that international expansion is part of the business plan surrounding Harin and her members.
Western and Chinese zodiac file
Western zodiac , Capricorn: Capricorn is the cardinal earth sign linked with structure, endurance and long-range ambition. It describes an archetype, not a reason to make a teenager the responsible adult.
Chinese zodiac , Fire Pig: January 3, 2008 came before Lunar New Year on February 7, so Harin belongs to the 2007 Fire Pig year rather than the Rat year shown by year-only calculators. Fire Pig combines generosity and sociability with a more expressive Fire element.
Zodiac belongs here because it is fun fandom shorthand, especially for readers who did not grow up with either system. It does not replace documented personality, training or choices.
The panda side quest
- Gukbap map: her preferred rice-soup obsession can become a Daegu food itinerary before it becomes another variety-game punishment.
- K-drama binge: watch what she recommends, then compare the calm center face to somebody actually reacting to plot chaos.
- Language desk: regional interviews reveal the small moments when she helps a member find the natural Korean phrase.
- Center study: watch one full-cam instead of a face edit and follow what she does between her own lines.
Fandom notes and things the fact box misses
- Kim Min-ju: her reported birth name; Harin is the stage name.
- Top student: useful background, not permission to ask her to solve everybody’s homework.
- Gukbapping: rice soup became a personality footnote because fandom respects consistency.
- Will it work? her recurring hashtag and a reasonable question for every KIIRAS genre pivot.
RaeRae take
Harin does the quiet labor that disappears in screenshots. She makes transitions look intentional, helps a multilingual team sound less translated and rarely looks surprised when the chorus changes the rules. Then she goes looking for gukbap. This is a much better profile than reducing her to visual and center, two labels that often mean everybody noticed the face and stopped reading.
