Before ALL(H)OURS
Youmin grew up in Gwangju and graduated from Gwangju Daedong High School. He passed EDEN’s final audition in November 2021 and began training the next month. That longer pre-debut runway placed him inside the group’s movement language before the lineup had an official name, fandom or expensive lighting.
Music, performance and work
Youmin is a dancer and vocalist who also contributes choreography ideas. He and ON:N helped shape early performance material including “Racer.” During Smoke Point interviews, Youmin admitted the repeated “GIMME GIMME” hook initially worried him because it could become monotonous; the rhythmic changes after the bridge won him over. That is a better creative answer than pretending every demo causes immediate spiritual enlightenment.
The panda side quest
He listens to classical piano, likes Justin Bieber’s “Holy,” can make dalgona candy and has a bichon frisé. The contrast between quiet listening habits and choreography that looks like cardio punishment is exactly the point. Watch fixed-camera practices to see him track spacing, transitions and force instead of only collecting center screenshots.
