ASTRO Put Rocky Back on the Poster and Made Stargraphy a Reunion, Not a Footnote
Rocky left Fantagio and ASTRO in 2023. In 2025, the official concert poster printed his name beside the current members and Moonbin, then put the real human history onstage before another military separation.

Contracts said one thing. Five men standing together before another enlistment said something messier. Former member Rocky joined MJ, Jinjin, Cha Eun-woo and San-ha for The 4th ASTROAD: Stargraphy. Official material included his name and also honored Moonbin. ASTRO history refused to fit inside a current-lineup database box.
The poster did not whisper
Rocky had left Fantagio and ASTRO in February 2023 after his contract ended. K-pop companies often treat a departure like somebody has been removed from the family photograph with industrial-strength editing. Here, the official poster printed his name. The participation was not a fan edit, backstage visit or vague “support.” It was part of the event.
The timing carried weight. This was ASTRO’s first group concert in more than three years. Cha Eun-woo was scheduled to enlist in July 2025. Fans were watching a rare opening between individual careers, military schedules, contractual changes and grief.
Confirmed
- Rocky left Fantagio and ASTRO in February 2023.
- The official Stargraphy poster included Rocky as a participant.
- Current members MJ, Jinjin, Cha Eun-woo and Yoon San-ha appeared.
- Moonbin was named and honored in the concert framing.
- Korean and Japanese concerts were held in June 2025.
What it did not change
- Rocky’s concert participation did not formally reverse his departure.
- He remains a former member and active solo artist.
- The reunion did not make ASTRO’s current four-member status imaginary.
- Honoring Moonbin did not turn the concert into permission for cause-of-death speculation.
Moonbin was not edited out to make the math easier
Concert materials named Moonbin, and the shows used recorded vocals and tribute stages. That can be emotionally complicated. It was also honest about the group’s shape. ASTRO did not become a clean four-person origin story because contracts, death and solo careers changed the active lineup.
The archive has six original members. The current group has four. Rocky is a former member. Moonbin died while part of ASTRO. All four statements can be true at once. Stargraphy worked because it let fans experience the relationship without demanding that the business categories disappear.
The human trail continued after the stage
Rocky later joined members when they saw Eun-woo off for military service. That did not create a secret contract. It showed that people who trained, debuted and lived together can maintain relationships after paperwork changes. Fandom databases need labels. Humans keep being rude enough to have feelings outside them.
RaeRae take
This is why profiles need current, former and late-member language instead of one blunt number. The current lineup matters. So does the actual history. Stargraphy did not solve every hurt or rewind 2023. It let the people onstage acknowledge the whole file.
Putting Rocky back on the poster was not confusing. Pretending he had never helped build ASTRO would have been confusing. Naming Moonbin was not marketing a ghost. Erasing him to make the lineup easier to explain would have been crueler.
