Xion

Status: Active ONEUS member
Years active: 2019–present

The maknae who quietly became the plot.

RaeRae take: Xion is not a collectible fact card. The interesting part is how the job changed around Xion, and how Xion changed with it.

Quick profile

Birth name: Son Dong-ju
Born: January 10, 2000
Role: Vocalist, visual, and maknae
Group: ONEUS
Fandom: TOMOON

Before ONEUS

Xion joined the trainee system later than several of his members and debuted with less formal training behind him. He is also the younger twin brother of ONEWE’s Dongmyeong, which means one family somehow produced two idols and the rest of us should stop bragging about group projects.

Why the group needs Xion

His growth is one of the easiest ONEUS stories to watch in real time. Early performances used him carefully. Later eras gave him more lines, more visual responsibility, and more space to build a distinct tone. By X, Seoho was enlisted and Xion was not hiding at the edge of the formation. He was one of the reasons the four-member frame worked.

Solo work and credits

His 2025 solo Altar leaned into the dramatic, elegant image that suits him. He also earned writing credits in the 5x era. The improvement is not only technical. He now performs like someone who knows exactly why the camera came.

The person fans actually follow

Xion is affectionate, observant, and much more socially powerful inside ONEUS than the maknae label suggests. Members have described going to him with worries. He also communicates frequently with fans. The youngest one became the emotional help desk. Nobody planned that, but everyone appears to use the service.
