KARD’s first full album is also the beginning of their final scheduled group chapter. The members are calling it a conclusion, but they are refusing to call their relationship finished.
The tour is the goodbye, not an ordinary promotion
KARD released Back To Life as part of their first full-length album, then confirmed that the NOW HERE world tour will serve as their final group activity under the current plan. The Seoul opening is scheduled for August 8 at Gabin Art Hall, followed by a ten-city European leg in September and additional dates extending into early 2027.
That timeline matters. This is not a group vanishing after one farewell press release. They made the album fans had waited years to receive, attached it to a tour, and gave Hidden KARD a real closing chapter.
The members are leaving the future slightly unlocked
In the July 28 Korea Times interview, the members acknowledged that their contracts with DSP Media expire at the end of the year and that future activities have not been decided. They also made it clear that the end of scheduled group promotions does not erase the bond among BM, J.Seph, Somin, and Jiwoo.
That is emotionally different from pretending nothing is changing. KARD is ending a working arrangement. They are not rewriting ten years of history because the paperwork reached its final page.

I hate that their first full album arrived with a goodbye label attached. I also respect the way they are handling it. The group gets music, performances, interviews, and a tour instead of one vague sentence followed by four silent Instagram accounts.
This still hurts. It simply hurts with organization.
