A fox-woman taught to confuse captivity with guilt—and the woman who turns Ishtar’s coveted magic into her own answer.
The profile
Why the rabbit hole starts here
Haruhime is not the prize at the end of Bell’s rescue route. She is the person whose consent determines whether the route succeeds. Volume 7 gives her a spectacular problem—the Killing Stone ritual—and then refuses to pretend breaking the object cures the shame built around it.
Volume 7 development · Full spoilers
The Night District changes the file.
She shelters Bell before she knows he came to save anyone. She recognizes Mikoto before either woman can repair the years between them. She asks Bell to save her only after the stone is gone, because wanting a future is the harder rebellion. Uchide no Kozuchi matters because she casts it by choice.
