8TURN

8TURN debuted January 30, 2023 and continues with Myungho, Jaeyun, Minho, Yoonsung, Haemin, Kyungmin, Yungyu and Seungheon. Every full-group era on this hub keeps all eight attached.
RaeRae take
Eight people should be a traffic jam. 8TURN work best when the lineup becomes choreography: focus moves, pairs fold, and nobody acts as if confidence requires standing still in the center.
The current eight
8TURN is Myungho, Jaeyun, Minho, Yoonsung, Haemin, Kyungmin, Yungyu and Seungheon. MNH’s artist page, Sony Music Japan’s current profile and 2026 official materials preserve the same lineup.
RaeRae note: An unchanged roster is still a dated fact.
The name and number
The brand turns eight members into the idea of taking their turn with confidence. Because the count sits in the name, every missing profile or duplicate card becomes especially ridiculous.
RaeRae note: The logo already completed the first audit field.
Before debut
MNH introduced the project after pre-debut paths that included competition experience for Jaeyun and Kyungmin. Those television histories explain some early audience recognition without defining the other six as blank newcomers.
RaeRae note: A louder origin story is not a larger share of the group.
January 30, 2023
“8TURNRISE” and “TIC TAC” launched the group officially. The debut uses restless pop, rotating centers and an edit designed to make eight faces feel like motion instead of congestion.
RaeRae note: Eight is only crowded when blocking gives up.
TIC TAC
The title track’s hook behaves like a nervous clock, creating urgency before the group has much biography. Continuous stages reveal the spacing and recovery that the official video hides under fast cuts.
RaeRae note: The wide shot is where debut preparation stops being theoretical.
8TURNRISE
The debut mini album supplies more evidence than the title track alone. B-sides help distinguish vocal color, rap placement and emotional range while the promotional single spends its energy introducing the brand.
RaeRae note: The album is the first real profile document.
UNCHARTED DRIFT
The June 26, 2023 mini album moved into summer motion through “EXCEL.” Road imagery and forward pressure fit the group’s turn-taking name, but the members still have to keep a fast visual world readable.
RaeRae note: Speed without direction is just expensive blur.
EXCEL
The track expands 8TURN’s performance vocabulary and gives the first comparison point after debut. Growth should be named through breath, formation and delivery rather than declared because the styling changed.
RaeRae note: A comeback is evidence, not an automatic promotion.
STUNNING
The third mini album arrived January 9, 2024. “RU-PUM PUM” made confidence the front-facing concept and used percussion-like syllables to keep eight quick handoffs physically sharp.
RaeRae note: Swagger works better when the beat has blueprints.
RU-PUM PUM is eight
The exact Stone Music playlist upload ZtBZsBlUix8 shows Myungho, Jaeyun, Minho, Yoonsung, Haemin, Kyungmin, Yungyu and Seungheon. The React routes to all eight profiles and this hub.
RaeRae note: No lineup puzzle exists here; only the obligation to count correctly.
The correct date
The video released January 9, 2024 and the React publishes January 11. The two-day gap satisfies the owner’s rule and keeps the page where a real contemporary reaction belongs.
RaeRae note: Bulk dates are how a clean archive starts looking synthetic.
The confidence argument
The video treats self-belief as momentum: cars, ramps, metallic spaces and bodies moving as though hesitation would be physically inconvenient. The interesting question is whether performance supplies enough individuality to keep confidence from becoming one group slogan.
RaeRae note: Eight people shouting “me” can still sound like one anonymous voice.
The arrangement
Drops, chant fragments and quick changes give “RU-PUM PUM” a roller-coaster structure. The transitions succeed when one member’s exit prepares the next entrance instead of making the track feel assembled from separate teaser clips.
RaeRae note: A switch-up needs a road, not merely a jump cut.
Japanese RU-PUM PUM
The Japanese version released in March 2024. Language, recording and market make it a separate master even when composition and choreography remain related. It needs its own exact date and ID in the later audit.
RaeRae note: Translation is not a duplicate button.
LEGGO
The 2025 catalogue moved beyond the three early mini albums and into a period connected with touring. It matters because a current group hub cannot stop at the song that happened to enter one playlist.
RaeRae note: Discovery should open the catalogue, not freeze it.
Touring
International tour stops provide longer performance evidence, including stamina, recovery and crowd communication across a full set. A three-minute broadcast can show precision; a concert shows whether precision survives fatigue.
RaeRae note: The encore keeps receipts.
Electric Heart
The August 2025 EP framed youth, hardship and connection through a more emotional register. The shift tests whether 8TURN can preserve individual tone without relying on the attack-heavy posture of “RU-PUM PUM.”
RaeRae note: Vulnerability is a performance problem too.
BRUISE
The January 28, 2026 single uses injury language and darker tension. Its choreography gives the current eight another high-pressure formation file, while the final official-MV backlog audit will decide whether a React is missing.
RaeRae note: A bruise concept needs more than purple light.
Stagefright
The July 21, 2026 official video turns performance anxiety into the concept. That is wonderfully rude: eight people must sell the fear of being watched while executing a product designed for millions of eyes.
RaeRae note: Fear does not cancel skill, and skill does not cancel fear.
8.X
The third single album keeps the group’s numerical branding alive. Reusing the number works only if the catalogue gives it accumulated meaning instead of asking typography to simulate development.
RaeRae note: A decimal point cannot do character growth alone.
The eight-member advantage
Eight bodies create mirrored pairs, folding diagonals and dense pictures that smaller groups cannot reproduce. The best choreography uses the even count intentionally rather than arranging two spare people behind a familiar six-person idea.
RaeRae note: Roster size should be a tool, not a storage problem.
The eight-member pressure
Eight voices compete for openings, bridges, rap pivots and clean camera time. Fairness is not identical seconds, but repeated invisibility is still an artistic and managerial failure worth documenting.
RaeRae note: Distribution needs more than arithmetic and less than denial.
Jaeyun’s leadership
Jaeyun is the leader and vocalist. That title covers group-facing coordination, not ownership of MNH’s business choices or responsibility for every member’s health and schedule.
RaeRae note: A leader is not management’s human warranty.
Vocal identity
Myungho, Jaeyun, Minho, Yoonsung, Haemin and Kyungmin contribute different melodic routes, while official position labels vary in detail across sources. The recordings decide how each voice is described here.
RaeRae note: A database field should never overpower an audible phrase.
Rap identity
Yungyu and Seungheon hold visible rap routes, but rhythmic speech and texture may move across the group depending on the song. Analysis follows credits and sound rather than forcing every track into one permanent two-person box.
RaeRae note: Rap is a musical function, not a badge glued at debut.
Formation identity
Even-number choreography makes center temporary. Every member has to recognize when the picture belongs to a pair, a moving diagonal or a split formation, then surrender focus cleanly when the turn changes.
RaeRae note: The group name becomes physical in the handoff.
Camera identity
Audio distribution and visual distribution must be tracked separately. A singer may carry the line beneath another close-up, while a dancer can hold center in a wide shot without receiving the vocal.
RaeRae note: The ear and lens keep different ledgers.
Fancams
Individual broadcast fancams reveal what happens between featured moments: formation travel, recovery, breathing and expression when the main camera leaves. Each member profile uses one unique official 2026 frame.
RaeRae note: The off-center count is still performed labor.
Live audio
Music-show audio can mix live voice, guide support and post-production in ways one upload does not disclose. A vocal verdict requires several files and proportionate certainty.
RaeRae note: One perfect clip is not a career, and one crack is not a conviction.
Age and work
Seungheon debuted as a minor, and several members trained through adolescence. Safe schedules, schooling, health care, styling and online moderation remain adult institutional responsibilities.
RaeRae note: Talent does not transfer the duty of care.
Competition editing
Pre-debut shows can document training and public chronology, but rankings and character edits do not become permanent judgments after debut. Jaeyun and Kyungmin’s pages treat those appearances as origins, not cages.
RaeRae note: An edited episode should not own a grown career.
TURNING boundaries
TURNING can support, translate and archive without claiming private health, relationships or motives. Membership products and fan calls provide access to a controlled public interaction, not ownership of a person.
RaeRae note: Closeness needs boundaries to remain support.
International reach
Japanese releases, touring and English-language interviews expand discovery, but metadata remains inconsistent across markets. Exact IDs and titles keep versions from collapsing into one vague song card.
RaeRae note: Global access is an indexing problem as well as a promotion problem.
Names
Myungho, Jaeyun, Minho, Yoonsung, Haemin, Kyungmin, Yungyu and Seungheon appear with spacing and romanization variations. Each canonical profile keeps the stage name, full name and exact files together.
RaeRae note: One missing space should not invent a ninth member.
Images
The hub uses a real frame from “BRUISE,” while eight profiles use eight separate official “Stagefright” broadcast frames. The “RU-PUM PUM” React retains its own image. No human portrait is generated, reused or hotlinked.
RaeRae note: Nine page roles require nine distinct pictures.
Metadata
Every attachment stores title, alt, caption, description, exact source, parent and FileBird folder 25. Every post stores canonical URL, focus keyword, social description and matching social image IDs.
RaeRae note: The boring fields keep an eight-person directory sane.
Static cards
Members and Reacts use native three-column card rows with finite vertical flow. No endless carousel hides the last names, and empty native columns preserve standard card width in the final partial row.
RaeRae note: The eighth card should not stretch into a billboard.
Participant routing
Full-group masters route to all eight. Japanese rerecordings, solo covers, collaborations, units and alternate casts require separate checks even when the group roster is unchanged.
RaeRae note: Stable membership does not make every upload identical.
Release chronology
Reacts publish one to three days after the exact master. That places current songs near the top and stops later cleanup from resembling a robotic bulk dump.
RaeRae note: The date belongs to the criticism.
Version chronology
Official MV, Japanese MV, performance video, choreography video, fancam and concert file each answer different questions. The later audit decides which artistic differences justify distinct Reacts.
RaeRae note: A new camera angle is evidence, not automatically a new song.
Tea and Rant threshold
There is no need to invent scandal around a stable roster. Editorials belong only where documented business, industry or access issues support a real argument.
RaeRae note: Not every hub needs gossip seasoning.
The creative layers
MNH, writers, producers, choreographers, stylists, directors and editors build each frame. Members perform and interpret inside it. Criticism should land on the responsible layer rather than blaming a singer for every synth.
RaeRae note: Credits make opinions sharper.
Opening-line rotation
Eight members make opening lines scarce and unusually influential. Across “TIC TAC,” “EXCEL,” “RU-PUM PUM,” “BRUISE” and “Stagefright,” the audit checks whether openings rotate, whether the first voice establishes a useful tone and whether the remaining seven prepare the visual world without fighting for the same close-up.
RaeRae note: The first line is a responsibility, not a prize ceremony.
Bridge rotation
Bridges provide cleaner vocal space and longer camera holds. The featured performer has to create contrast that feeds the final chorus, while the surrounding seven manage backing, blocking and the physical reset. A fair archive documents who receives those opportunities and who repeatedly builds the bridge without being named for it.
RaeRae note: Spotlight and structure can share the credit.
Chorus architecture
An eight-person chorus may contain lead melody, doubled support, rap punctuation, dance-center changes and a camera relay inside seconds. Analysis separates what is audible from what is visible, then admits where the master stays blended instead of assigning imaginary solo credits.
RaeRae note: Group sound does not owe us eight isolated stems.
Costume versus concept
Uniform styling can make eight people instantly coherent, but clothes cannot perform confidence, injury or anxiety. The members still have to create emotional timing and distinct presence inside the visual system. Otherwise wardrobe becomes an expensive label stuck onto a generic formation.
RaeRae note: Styling starts the sentence; performance finishes it.
Japanese-market infrastructure
The Japanese version of “RU-PUM PUM” and Sony Music profile create a parallel official trail with its own dates, titles and assets. Those records should link back to the same eight people without being collapsed into the Korean master or counted twice by accident.
RaeRae note: International expansion needs version control.
Tour-set construction
A concert is not a playlist on a larger speaker. Transitions, ment sections, pacing and recovery determine whether eight members can sustain a shared identity over ninety minutes or more. Tour footage therefore supplies group evidence that individual comeback clips cannot.
RaeRae note: The space between songs is part of the performance.
Subtitles and translation
Official subtitles reduce the cost of following interviews and behind-the-scenes files outside Korea. Local summaries can guide readers, but they should not pretend to replace phrasing, humor or cultural context in the source language.
RaeRae note: Translation is a bridge, not a replacement speaker.
Pairing culture
Eight members generate visible friendships and popular pairings. Public jokes and teamwork may be documented as edited entertainment evidence; romance, private motives and ownership claims cannot be inferred from fanservice or a short behind clip.
RaeRae note: Chemistry is enjoyable without becoming a legal theory.
Current does not mean complete
The official roster is current through the July 2026 “Stagefright” cycle, but a current hub still carries pending official-MV React work. “Up to date” requires both biography and song coverage, not merely eight correctly spelled names.
RaeRae note: A roster can be finished while a catalogue remains unfinished.
What the next release must prove
A future 8TURN title should show how eight accumulated careers use space: who establishes direction, how focus travels, whether transitions stay clean and whether confidence allows more than one emotional color. The update begins with the exact master rather than a teaser promise.
RaeRae note: The ninth era still has to earn its turn.
One hub across markets
Korean albums, Japanese masters, international concerts and platform exclusives all point back to this same group hub. Exact version records prevent duplication while the shared hub preserves one continuous eight-member history across markets. Each route keeps its own date and source.
RaeRae note: Expansion should create routes, not duplicate identities.
The later song audit
Every 8TURN playlist and official-MV row will be opened individually to verify ID, release, React date, player, cast, local image, metadata and all card destinations. A total of eight profiles proves only that eight pages exist.
RaeRae note: Counts are clues, not completion certificates.
Archive verdict
8TURN’s best work turns the roster count into motion: focus passes, formations fold and confidence becomes a relay instead of a pileup. The unchanged lineup makes the history clean; the catalogue still has to keep every member visible.
RaeRae note: Eight turns only matter if everybody reaches the wheel.
The next file
A new upload receives cards after exact ID, version, release date, cast, local image and React status agree. The system follows evidence before promotion.
RaeRae note: A clean archive is built one master at a time.
