Bottom line

KG Crown is an American singer-songwriter and former VCHA member. She was selected through A2K, performed in the original six-member lineup, announced in December 2024 that she was leaving, and reached a mutual contract termination with JYP America in August 2025.

Her public allegations and JYP America’s response are part of the record, but this page does not claim a court ruled on disputed facts. The later agreement ended the contract; it did not turn either side’s earlier statement into a judicial finding.

December 2024 departure statement

KG publicly announced that she had filed to terminate her contract and described alleged mistreatment and mental-health concerns. Those claims deserve accurate attribution and should not be softened into a vague “personal reasons” exit.

JYP USA disputed parts of the account and described its own attempts at discussion. Reporting both statements is not false equivalence; it is the minimum needed when the underlying dispute was not adjudicated in the site’s sources.

August 2025 resolution

JYP America later announced that it and KG Crown had mutually agreed to terminate the VCHA contract and wished each other well. “Mutually agreed” describes the resolution language.

A settlement or contract termination is not permission to invent financial terms, admissions or restrictions. Those details remain private unless a primary record makes them public.

Artist identity beyond the dispute

KG entered the project with singing, songwriting and instrumental experience. Her profile should not become only a lawsuit index, even though the dispute materially changed the group timeline.

Future original music belongs here with exact credits and sources. It should not be filed under GIRLSET merely because that group inherited the old social channels.

The six-member VCHA archive

VCHA emerged from A2K with Lexi, Camila, Kendall, Savanna, KG and Kaylee. The group released its pre-debut SeVit material in September 2023 and formally debuted with “Girls of the Year” in January 2024.

All six performed in “Y.O.Universe,” “Girls of the Year” and “Only One.” Later departures cannot rewrite a visible and credited historical lineup.

A2K context

America2Korea placed North American trainees inside a JYP-led evaluation and training structure. The program explains the public formation route, but rankings are not permanent definitions of the people who completed it.

A responsible profile distinguishes edited competition footage, released group work, official notices and private life. It does not turn a teenager’s televised evaluation into a lifelong personality diagnosis.

Y.O.Universe

The pre-debut title frames difference as a reason for value rather than a problem the group must correct. Its exact official MV includes all six original members and receives a dedicated long React.

The page routes that exact ID rather than treating any stage, choreography version or later GIRLSET performance as interchangeable.

Girls of the Year

VCHA’s formal debut aimed its title at aspiration and public arrival. The six-member video belongs to the VCHA chapter even though four performers later continued under another name.

Historical labels are not insults. Calling the file VCHA protects the credited release and prevents the GIRLSET catalog from absorbing work under a name and lineup that did not yet exist.

Only One

The March 2024 performance video is the last playlist item in this three-song set and again features all six original members. It emphasizes continuous formation work more than narrative production.

Every participant receives the card. A later four-person history note belongs beside the route, not on top of the evidence.

The GIRLSET transition

After KG and Kaylee left, JYP relaunched Lexi, Camila, Kendall and Savanna as GIRLSET in August 2025. The new name describes the current group; VCHA remains the accurate name for the six-member recordings.

The canonical GIRLSET hub carries both eras with dated membership. Two duplicate hubs would make status and cards drift apart.

Image ethics
