Early life and Produce 101
SE JEONG represented Jellyfish Entertainment on Produce 101 and finished second. She was already one of the season’s clearest vocalists, but viewers also responded to her practicality, humor and refusal to turn a difficult background into a pity performance.

January 2017 · Planned ending
“Downpour” and the final concert closed the original contract. The ending was administrative, public and emotionally real. KIM SE JEONG returned to a separate agency path with the I.O.I name still attached to every future introduction.
Career after 2017
Jellyfish debuted her in gugudan while I.O.I was still active, one example of the original non-exclusive contract pulling members into parallel schedules. She later established a solo catalog and a major acting career through projects including School 2017, The Uncanny Counter, Business Proposal and Brewing Love.
