Early life and Produce 101
DOYEON trained under Fantagio, competed on Produce 101 and finished eighth. Her height, proportions and composed gaze made her an immediate fashion and beauty favorite, but her friendship and performance contrast with fellow Fantagio trainee YOOJUNG gave the show a more human entry point.

January 2017 · Planned ending
“Downpour” and the final concert closed the original contract. The ending was administrative, public and emotionally real. KIM DOYEON returned to a separate agency path with the I.O.I name still attached to every future introduction.
Career after 2017
