A sharp, warm, occasionally chaotic story set in rural 1970s China, where family branches matter, village gossip travels faster than transportation, and practical competence is its own love language.

The chapters are actively being edited, so I am not dumping unfinished revisions onto the site. Instead, I’m building the Qingshan Village Archive: characters, subcharacters, families, kinship, naming traditions, places, culture, rumors, and all the little details that make a world feel alive.

Not in a tasteful little footnote. In a playlists-for-every-emotion, choreography-rabbit-hole, “one more performance video” and suddenly-it-is-2-a.m. way.

That energy lives in Lumina Echoes, my K-pop rom-com world: neon stages, public personas, private disasters, found family, ambition, and the highly scientific question of how much emotional damage can fit behind one flawless comeback photo.

The other novels are not abandoned. They are on a creative break, which sounds much healthier than “RaeRae opened another document.” Their worlds can stay visible without pretending every project is releasing tomorrow.

I make emotionally grounded stories, culturally curious worlds, and enough lore to turn one innocent click into a research expedition.
