Three theatrical films and two OVAs revisit the lives around Kenshiro, shifting perspective toward Raoh, Yuria, Toki, and the people whose stories the original legend moved past.
Legends of the True Savior is a five-part reconstruction rather than a clean continuation. It revisits known history, inserts new material, alters emphasis, and gives major supporting figures more narrative ownership. That makes ordering important before anyone presses play.
This directory will keep three routes visible: Japanese release order, approximate story chronology, and the recommended first-time path. None will be presented as the only morally correct way to watch cartoons.
Moving perspective toward Raoh can reveal fear, duty, affection, and strategic logic that the original hero-centered structure could not hold. Perspective is valuable because it explains how a person experiences his choices. It should not be used to invoice the audience for automatic forgiveness.
The Reviews will separate interiority from absolution. A conqueror becoming understandable does not make conquered people less real.
Retelling projects often promise depth by moving a familiar tragedy closer to the camera. That only works if Yuria and Toki receive decisions, contradictions, anger, and desires beyond what their suffering teaches the men around them.
Each film and OVA will be judged on whether added screen time becomes actual subjectivity. More minutes are not the same as more life.
The three films receive individual long-form Reviews. The two OVAs receive individual Reacts. One overall Review then judges the five-part project as a single reconstruction, including visual continuity, altered characterization, new scenes, and what the project smooths over.
Character, lore, and Japanese-cast links remain connected to their specific production eras so a reader never mistakes a new performer or design for an undocumented replacement.
Yuria and Toki receive separate perspective Reacts with visible canonical image cards, kept distinct from the three theatrical Reviews.
The theatrical chapters receive full-length Reviews, separate from the OVA Reacts. Each card uses the same canonical artwork as its post hero.
One long-form judgment of the complete Legends project, separate from the three theatrical Reviews and two OVA Reacts.
